The front 5 or 6 were just regular ones and toward the back were they fun ones. Lets just say they are very interactive with one another. The cliental varies, couples 8 to 11 on fridays and saturdays. After 11 well you get what you get and honestly it was enough that we left the place due to the creeps. This has happened multiple times to me at this location. If you're going to stock a book series, make sure you stock all of them, especially the first one. Upon returning home, I realized the store clerk did not return my Discover card to me, and that there was a purchase of $23 + change by a stranger on my card. The usual RUN-AROUND ensued: Big Lots told me I must take it up with Discover card, and Discover card referred me back to Big Lots. Bottom line: I was SWINDLED this $23 + change by paying for either a stranger, or the employee's purchase. NOT a lot of money, but enough to warrant warning others to be aware of this situation. Big Lots did not have the integrity to check their security surveillance to determine that I did NOT make this purchase, and to determine who DID. Way to screw over your long-time, loyal (senior citizen) customers, BIG LOTS!

I have purchased several books from Blue Apple, and they are always in excellent condition at a reasonable price. I especially love the wide selection of books on theology/spirituality, a major interest of mine. The staff at Blue Apple are incredibly welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable about books and all its products offered. Every time I walk in, I am greeted with a smile and a "How are you? Can I help you find anything?" I have seen all kinds of people, readers or not, enjoy the ambiance of the store because it's just so cozy and welcoming. It's a gem of the Madison community!
