All American Cards and Comics in downtown Warren isn't just a comic shop--it's a piece of hometown history, built and maintained by the unofficial mayor of Warren himself, Greg Bartholomew. Though it's changed locations slightly over the years, it's still planted firmly in the heart of downtown Warren, and the magic (no pun intended) has never left. If I were to open my dream comic shop, it would look just like this one: a charming old brick façade opening into a space packed wall-to-wall with everything a fan could dream of--Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokémon, action figures, Funko Pops, D&D manuals, tabletop games, and comics galore. And we're not just talking modern comics--this place is loaded with back issues from the Bronze Age, Silver Age, and even Gold, not to mention pristine wall books in glass cases that will stop you in your tracks. The Alex Ross prints decorating the walls are just the cherry on top. If you ever get the chance to peek into the back room--do it. It's a treasure trove of books that haven't hit the shelves yet or are prepped for upcoming cons. Greg knows his stuff and keeps the shop stocked and vibrant. New comic book day every Wednesday? Yep, they've got that too. Decided to take my SEALED copy of Zelda:TOTK Collector's edition to maybe sell. They didn't say a…read moreword to me but took it upon themselves to OPEN it and make sure it was legit. If they had asked if it was okay I would have declined. Then after telling its police to open them to make sure it's legit. Only to later switch the story to say it looked tampered with and that's why. After speaking to a manager and an owner their offer to make it right was $60..... I give @exchangestores 1-10 for customer satisfaction. Do better.

The store was full of customers and I thought how wonderful. Then something unfortunate happened and the store almost cleared out. The store wasn't responsible for the occurrence and those who were should not have been there. Long story short she told me she wasn't waiting on me & had refused to void items (flaming ruffles & pumpkin Mcmuffin's) because I said "I'll ask the guy with the bow tie (mgr). Funny part is she thought she was NOT going to void my stuff & had my items in her hand . I was just shopping in there yesterday- I spend bank at this store. To make matters worse, she told me to SHUT UP-OUT LOUD & walked off! She said she quit, but never left. Took off her badge, but never left! If I would have spoke to a customer in that manner when I worked in customer service, I would of been FIRED! But the way the world is- my money, that I earn to PURCHASE items can be made into me being the bad guy cause I said I would ask the Mgr where to put the extra bag's. Some F#£%@n$ AMERICA!
