The last two trips to the Beechmont Ave location have soured me on their establishment. In short, you'd be better off just donating your items than getting ripped off at Half Price books. I don't expect a lot for my merchandise, but the amount they offered me both times felt like an insult. What added salt is that I found a single CD I wanted, but they had it priced at $30 (something they likely paid $1 or less for). Sure it was something out of print, but the price was still ridiculous for a used CD. I found it for much cheaper on Ebay.

They have everything you can think of. Garden, home decor, clothes, electronics, small appliances, toiletries, food, rugs, a very nice book selection, and more. I was like a kid in a candy store. I couldn't believe the pricing on some of the stuff. They are name brands at discounted prices. We mainly go there to get bird suet for only $1.29. The store is organized however there are some sections that are cluttered. So it's kinda like Aldi find, once the items are gone, that's it. We left out only spending $29.00. Most items we bought were under $3.00. I even scored a hard back air frying recipe book. They even have a rewards program which you can join for free. I'm a fan!! Definitely worth checking out.

I've been a fan for a few years, and recently I turned my lady on to the place, who instantly became like a kid in a candy store. She loves it now. They have groceries, gardening supplies, auto accessories, a massive section of books ans graphic novels, clothes, carpets and floor decor, beds and bed accessories, tools, "As seen on TV" goods, and LOTS more at epic prices. The shop has a prime location on main Beechmont Ave. across from Kroger. The space is well constructed with plenty of room to enjoy your coffee and books after you make your selection. The in store inventory is a little limited, but the staff is able to order most things to be shipped within a few days. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I'll be putting this local shop in rotation and hope others will do the same to keep it open.

Jodie is amazing lady who really works hard keeping her shop easy to move throughout and the selection of items are fantastic. The place is neat and clean as well as all the items she displays for sale. Prices are unbeatable. Definitely a shop worth checking in regularly as her rotation and turnover of merchandise changes regularly. They took six days to fill an antibiotic prescription allowing my infection to flare. Communication was almost non-existent. The scrip was sent Friday, no call to confirm. Monday I called, they couldn't find it. (They later did.) Tuesday I called and was told they didn't have the drug to fill it. I was also told to call the Doc because instructions were missing. I did. Wednesday I called, it was promised that evening or the next day by 3:00 PM, IF I confirmed in writing that I wanted it. I did. Thursday my husband called at 3, it wasn't ready. He drove there anyway and the Pharmacist claimed "computer problems." Too many days, too many excuses, compromising the health of customers.
