LaMont answered my call when I was asking about a complicated return with items I had purchased at another store. He told me to come in with my receipt, and he would take care of me. My other half was not so confident about what I was told I needed to provide. I was told we did not have to bring in every item we purchased from the Va Beach Store, only items that we physically would be returning or exchanging. While I was removing every item, box and bag from my vehicle, my Fiancée decided to abandon me and enter the store. After wiping away a tear, from her abandonment, I noticed she was greeted by a guy at the front door. She was greeted, given a handshake, and was even told the employees name. When I walked in, not much later, I was also given a handshake and was greeted by LaMont. He went way above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He assured my other half that he would always take care of us, and that we only needed to provide what was stated over the phone. He made sure that she would not have to worry about bringing every box, to every console, with all games we ever bought, from any/all stores over the last 10 years (including all bags), even if she was just being "prepared". He just stated that he would take care of us, would make sure to tell us what we needed to provide, and would make sure we always left happy. LaMont was called Larry or Lamore by my other half, which I addressed to him, and acknowledged that she just is not good with names. She believed my name was my phone number for the longest time, so we can not blame the name issue. I can BLAME LaMont for being an amazing employee at this gamestop and taking care of our needs. I will be returning from this point forward to see "LAMORE" aka LaMont, for all my gaming needs! I am pretty sure this is the first Yelp Review for this location, and prob the most Epic!!!
