I was here for N64 games. I found a few I wanted! For some reason N64 seems to not be as popular as other game systems. Maybe cuz it's bulky? Not as many N64 games here as there were for the other ones. Staff was helpful! They did a great job making sure you could find what you needed. They seem to have regulars here. Very cool! As you might expect, it was pricey, and no one mentioned it might not be what I wanted. When I realized, well, now it's opened, so would you like $9 back on your $90 purchase? I wouldn't call it a "scam" but I wish their staff was more forthcoming about selling games from another region. If you know to check everything closely before buying, this seems like a nice shop, but if you're less of an expert, you might want to shop somewhere with better buyer protection.

They explained that they don't refurbish items, only resell, so because one of the controllers had a sticky button and a worn joystick pad, they couldn't accept the consoles. It made sense, and they were clear about it. Even though we didn't end up selling, they were still helpful and took the time to guide us, which I appreciated. Overall, still a positive experience.

I guess this place is fine if you're starting out or just want to grab the latest RSD repress of that album that already has dozens of pressings and leave immediately, but don't bother stopping by if you're looking to dig or get excited because this store has nothing to offer actual collectors.

The store has a good selection of retro and new stuff which was nice. But the biggest issue I had, which I noticed in a lot of reviews, was pricing. Everything was priced well above market. For example: Used GameBoy Advance SP (non-AGS101 screen) $80 bucks, Used Nintendo 2DS (not 2DS XL) $80 which is the same as the brand new price! Most used games were about 20-30% above market pricing when compared on GameStop's site. Not sure if I'll return. I don't mind spending a few bucks more sometimes if it's something I really want or if its harder to find but the pricing was out of wack on just about everything. I know the guy has to make money, but market pricing is so readily available now that it's silly of the owner to not think people will pull out their phone and check the prices online before purchasing.

Upon returning to the store, the owner promptly told me he put it back in the console, that I was mistaken about him keeping it, he also told the police the same thing.
