Such a fun experience with my friend and her family. We did The Gate and The Cinema. Both were fun…read morerooms, but I enjoyed The Gate more because it was a bit easier. The Cinema was quite immersive as well, but lots of puzzles and some physical activities too. I loved the gamemasters, as we were allowed unlimited clues, and they were so helpful in pointing us to the right direction. We were able to escape both rooms, but I wish the end was a bit more dramatic for one of the rooms. While you don't get parking fully validated, they do give you a good discount. Definitely worth visiting if you enjoy escape rooms. Overall: A

Our game master did an excellent job of setting us up before the game started. He clearly explained what to expect, pointed out anything that could potentially slow us down, and made sure we could focus on enjoying the experience instead of getting stuck on avoidable mistakes. The location is right in the heart of International Drive, so it's easy why they get so much foot traffic from tourists like me! It is also a fun option for locals looking for something different to do. Whether you're visiting Orlando or live nearby, Will to Escape is worth adding to your list if you're looking for a fun escape room experience. We definitely want to come back to try their Disappearance room, but it was completely booked out when we went. It's a popular spot and I wish them all the success.

I gave…read morein, so we could do something together as a family and American Escape Rooms didn't disappoint. Right now, you have to book your room online. Their website was easy to navigate, and make sure to text the phone number on the site to get a same day discount code! We booked the same day for the Zombie room. Their prices, by the way, were a lot less than other rooms in Orlando by around $10/per person. We arrived a few minutes ahead of time, signed the waivers and locked our phones away. Brooke, our game master, went over the rules and then we were locked inside. Needless to say, we had a lot of fun. 60 minutes goes by extremely quickly, and alas, the zombies won and we lost. Brooke was extremely helpful with her clues she gave us over the walkie talkie and was invested in us succeeding (she doesn't need more zombies running around). We enjoyed our experience so much that when they offered us a discounted package for another time, we went ahead and took it. They have 4 different rooms available, plus, they're located in a shopping center near UCF which has some great food and drink options for winners (and losers) to enjoy afterwards. Definitely check them out!

The room we chose was quite challenging. The detail that went into the room was very intricate and thoroughly thought out. We loved the story behind the room. There is a limited amount of hints available compared to other places, but since it was our friend's birthday, they gave us extra hints if we needed them or said we could add additional time.

My friends booked everything online, which was fairly easy, and we met up to see if we could conquer the room we had chosen. First and foremost if you think you're in the wrong place when you pull up, look again, the sign is small and hidden... cause it's AN ESCAPE ROOM. Once we stepped into the initial room, the detail to the theming was *immaculate*! Stepping into the main waiting area, the ceilings are high, the theming remains impressive, and best part--they have SNACKS! We had amazing service thanks to Samantha, who gave us an overview of the place and how they do things. No boxes, keys, lockboxes, etc., which left us curious about how we would enjoy the room... well no need to worry, we were super engaged for every bit of time we were trying to escape with our lives! The room was incredibly well designed, and there were a number of engaging ways in which the puzzles were solved. 10 out of 10, this place was awesome and I will absolutely be back!

The entrance is set up almost like a Speakeasy, but we made our way inside for a super simple check-in, then met our host "Sam" who was the perfect Master of Ceremonies, guiding us through the rules of the games. I'm not gonna spoil the surprise but this was probably my favorite part of the weekend!

We arrived a little early for our escape room, so we were happy to wait in the lobby. Unfortunately, they kept us waiting at least 10 minutes beyond our scheduled start time and then passed us off between several different team members. We stood in the lobby for an additional 5 minutes after they told us they were finally ready for us. This made for a fully disorganized first impression and also caused our group to feel like an afterthought. Our game master also forgot to give us the walkie talkie we needed for the game and just kind of threw us into the room. We had a third person who actually gave us hints as we asked for them in the experience, which also felt like a bit if a disconnect, as we never met that person. When the game ended, the original person who checked us in told us we had gone over our time by "5 or 7 minutes", which was actually not true when we checked the time based on when we actually started the room vs when we had been scheduled to start the room. The whole experience left a bad taste and I'm not sure I would opt to do another room here. Very disappointing, as we're avid escape room fans.

Half way through the game, an employee barged in to fix something that I assume wasn't reset properly from the last session, totally messing up our vibe and causing confusion. Not what you want to experience when you're paying almost $400 for one hour of fun. This place was overpriced in my opinion. We've been to so many other escape rooms that were much more updated and costed half the price. They also were not accommodating with the Groupon I was trying to purchase it with. We had a group of ten and would need to purchase a 4 person and 6 person Groupon, which they would not allow even though the room accommodated 10 people. Do yourself a favor, spend the same or less and go to the Bureau or Escapology.
