My husband and I planned for a full-day escape room visit with Doldrick's on September 6, 2025 and we powered through their five rooms: Crazy Train, Captain Spoopy Bones, Ghouling Graveyard, Super Bomb Squad, and Red Sled Redemption. Our game master, Jamie, made sure that we were taken care of for the first four rooms. Crazy Train and Captain Spoopy Bones were the stand out experiences for us but honestly, ALL of their rooms are solid puzzle experiences that will tickle the brain and provide that interactive and comedic "Spoopy" element. She also heard that we were from out of town and she took the time to get to know us and our plans for the rest of the week that we were there. A big part of escape rooms are also the photos and she got us photos within the escape rooms and in their lobby! This was so appreciated. At this point, we have done over 200+ rooms and there is always a special place in my heart for mom and pop escape rooms like Doldrick's. We got to meet Rick (the Rick from Dold-Rick) and we got to hear about his passion for the storyline, the scenes, and professionalism. If we are ever back in Orlando/Kissimmee and a new room has opened up, we will definitely pay you all a visit. Hubby and I were looking for a high tech escape room so their website caught our attention. We asked for the most high tech one we could do out of the options available at the time we were free and got to try the Super Bomb Squad room. It was really fun and definitely more tech heavy than other stuff we have tried. It was fun using the fake guns to shoot the cameras out and break into the evil corporations computer to find clues. Great experience at Doldrick's. We had heard about Doldrick's so we scheduled 2 rooms at the end of our Disney vacation, but added a third since we had such a great time. Well planned out rooms and great storiyline, scenes and experience. Tori was our GM and she did a great job. They also let us store all of our bags and were super hospitable. We did with our 2 kids as well (11,14) and they loved it too. This was 104-106 and 105-107 for us and one of the better rooms we have done. Definitely Terpeca worthy. read more

Had a great experience here - we did the crazy train room with 4 people. They give you 75 minutes and we finished with 3 minutes to spare. The theming in this room was incredible and it was super interactive. Very clean inside and the staff were so nice. We scheduled a stop at Doldrick's on our way from Orlando to visit family in West Palm Beach. This was after much research to find the ideal escape room for us, and Doldrick's certainly lived up to its reputation! We did the Spoopy Bones room and it was incredibly detailed, immersive, and original. It really required us to work together in parts, and also had ample opportunities for each of us to focus on an individual puzzle at times. The puzzles were great, but to be honest, I would have enjoyed just spending an hour in that themed room even if there were no puzzles! I also really enjoyed talking to the owner after the puzzle about how he and his partner started Doldrick's. I'm glad to know that I'm supporting a small business and the creativity and engineering that went into this design. read more

I love how immersive their rooms can be. From dodging lasers to following maps they really know how to get the group involved. I've come here with a variety of people ages ranging from 40 to 12. Everyone has been able to participate and enjoy themselves. You really have to use the room in order to get some of the clues solved. Which I feel helps keep you on your toes. Careful of the red herrings though. The waiting area is nice and there is different games you can play while you wait. Or you can play them after finishing a room. They have a bathroom in the back which I recommend using before you go into the room. The employees here are helpful and give clues when needed. You're never really locked in any of the rooms, you're able to get out. If you haven't done an escape room before, this is one place I would definitely recommend checking out. Order from my favorite room to my least favorite: Bomb Squad, Captain Spoopy Bones, and Red Slept Redemption. (To be fair the Bomb Squad room was so amazing it made the Red Sled Redemption room look like it didn't belong here.) read more

This is one of my top 2 escape rooms that I have ever done. It has surprise, intrigue, comedy, complex puzzles, and most of all fun. we did the spoopy bones, the bomb squad, and the red sled redemption rooms. As a group of 2 adults and 2 kids, we didn't have any problems escaping the rooms with clue assists when needed. The voice of the spoopy bones character was not anywhere near what I was expecting which started the room out with a bit of humor that we carried throughout our game. All of the clues matched the theme and there were many puzzles and interactive items that made it overall way more fun. The red sled redemption was the less enjoyable room we did. It was still fun, but not nearly as good as the spoopy bones or bomb squad. The Bomb squad room was amazing and had one of the best interactive puzzles that was so fun we couldn't help but spend extra time messing around with them. Overall, this is one of my favorite escape rooms that I have ever done. If you have time and want a good fun challenge go here. You won't be disappointed. read more

This was room 35 for my wife and I. We did Captain Spoopy Bones after hearing excellent things from other enthusiasts that have played it. I, personally, love rooms that have more tactical puzzles (things to touch, move around, etc) as opposed to mental puzzles, and this had a ton of tactical puzzles. The story was excellent, and none of the puzzles felt like they required leaps of logic. Our Game Master was also the perfect mix of attentive without being overbearing. Doldrick's Scape Room Impressive handling of conflict situations! My family and I decided to visit this place on Father's Day for the second year in a row. And we had one of the most fun and incredible experiences. We chose the game "Captain Spooky Bones" It is somewhat complicated but if you work as a team you can figure out the game. After a lot of effort, we did it! We have to admit that we received great customer service. And I wanted to mention that I, due to a mistake that didn't even cross my mind, took a piece from the game. We received a call from the owner who treated us with great respect at all times. After two days I found the piece in my purse and today I went to his business to return it and offer him an apology in person. So, I publicly offer another apology to the entire work team of this place and even more so to its owner who handled the situation with much tact, delicacy, kindness and professionalism! We visited Doldrick's on a recent visit to Orlando, based on many fantastic reviews. It was our first time here, so we decided not to miss out on their now classic 'Spoopy Bones' room. It was indeed fantastic with fair puzzles and some great surprises. The GM was excellent, providing some unsolicited hints here and there to keep us on track. This room has lots to see and do, and although fairly linear, a group of 3-4 players would still be reasonable. read more

Our love of escape games brought my family and me to Doldrick's thrice in one week! At this time, they offered three games; otherwise, we'd have likely returned for a fourth visit! Although the games at Doldrick's are on the more expensive side, each experience is unique, challenging, and great fun. Red Sled Redemption is the newest offer at Doldrick's and my first experience here. The room doesn't look like much upon entry, but it's full of cool tech with repurposed toys, lots of physical puzzles, and fun props! It is a small room, but there is plenty to do. Be sure to watch the intro video and read carefully! This is a non-linear room that is clever in execution with few red herrings, which I love. There have been rooms where we've been provided writing instruments/surfaces that offer no advantage or assistance, but we were definitely grateful to be able to take notes in Red Sled Redemption! Super Bomb Squad: Commandos Awesome! is my favourite room at Doldrick's. You start in an austere room that ends up having great, logical puzzles with some linearity. Once you get out, you're introduced to some cool tech, and it feels like you're in a video game. This room is not for the visually impaired, however, as it is dimly lit. There is only one annoying puzzle that is a time-sucker. Otherwise, this room was great fun, and I can't recommend it enough! Challenging, good flow, teamwork required, excellent immersion, and a nice mix of tech! Captain Spoopy Bones and the Magnificent Quest for Some Other Pirate's Treasure is the room at Doldrick's with the highest acclaim for good reason. Firstly, your team is split in half, and you must communicate to solve the first few puzzles. Teamwork, baby! Secondly, the rooms are commodious with plenty to do, so there's really no reason anyone should feel like dead space. And thirdly, the majority of the puzzles were fun, thoughtful, and logical. However, due to the nature of having large rooms with many puzzles, some may feel a bit disappointed with missing out on some of the story/puzzles. We also needed nudges in the end and found the final puzzle to be a bit finicky. Otherwise, Spoopy Bones will have you smiling at his jokes and putting on your thinking caps! Doldrick's can be a little elusive as you pull into the parking lot, as there is a obvious lack of conspicuous signage outside of the building. Look for the Shrek head in front of the barber shop next door, and step to the left to see that there is a glass door with "Doldrick's Escape Room" on it. If you ever make it out to Kissimmee, this place is a must-visit! read more

Escape room enthusiast here. My husband and I travel all over the US to do escape room and we stumbled upon this place. We did two rooms back to back... and both were fantastic. We've done over a hundred so our standards are high and it's hard to impress us. Highly recommend this place for any traveling enthusiasts. We did the spoopy bones and the bomb squad one. The spoopy one was about 75 mins long with a split start. It was tough for 2 veterans because of the sheer volume of things to do but it's very doable. Lots of 1st gen puzzles and lots of locks. It reminded me that you don't always need a lot of tech for an escape room to be fun. Bomb squad was really fun too. Good mix of physical and mental puzzles. I did think this was much easier than the spoopy one. Also very doable for 2 people. Next time I'm in Orlando, I'll be back to do the rest of their rooms. Go. Here. This is the second escape room we tried. No shade.....not too much shade on the first but this one surpasses it easily. Easy to book online. Captain Scoopy Bones. Friendly staff greeted us at the door. Waivers done with a QR code on the phone. Love it. We are actually still in a pandemic. The actual puzzles were very good. Good as in, layered. Layered like a good lasagna should be. Our group ranged from 7 to 70. Everyone could participate well. It was actually fun and we all got a sense of fulfillment from figuring out puzzles. I feel like the time should be 90 minutes and not 75 but that's just me, probably. So, next time we hit O-town, we will be back to Doldrick's. read more

I decided to head to Doldrick's for a much needed date with the wife after being stuck at home with the pandemic and to keep from going crazy. We have heard about this escape room company from other escape room enthusiasts who rave about this place and also seeing Doldrick's win awards on Top Escape Room sites! So we had to give it a try! With just two people, we attempted "Captain Spoopy Bones and the Magnificent Quest For Some Other Pirate's Treasure!" and "Red Sled Redemption at the Holly Jolly Holiday Hubcap Repair!" Doldrick's also wins the award for having the longest names for their rooms and for creativity. Captain Spoopy Bones and the Magnificent Quest For Some Other Pirate's Treasure! is a high recommendation! But honestly we struggled with just two people. There is so much to find in this escape room, and even though we got out in time, we had to use hints just because we missed so many items. This room is massive and I wouldn't advise other couples from doing it unless you're super pumped on caffeine and prepared to burn all your brain energy! This room is great for family fun as there's just so much to do! As for "Red Sled Redemption at the Holly Jolly Holiday Hubcap Repair!" I don't think I can really recommend this room. The employees also didn't give this room a recommendation for us to do, but we just had to do it since we were playing during the Christmas week! (We should have listened and done a different one). The room itself is quite small and dated compared to the awesomeness that is Captain Snoopy's adventure. We finished with more than half our time left and were let down by how little content there was and how basic some of the puzzles were. I would only recommend this room for families with young children where it may be difficult for them to contribute meaningfully to more difficult escape room puzzles and if you prefer to take your time solving an escape room. I would definitely plan to make a 2nd visit to Doldrick's sometime when I am able to again, they have 4 rooms and I can't wait to try out the other 2! read more

What a treat for escape roomers who are in the area for theme parks. My group did three rooms at this location: Bomb Squad, Captain Spoopy Bones, and Crazy Train. All three rooms were excellent, and we had trouble figuring out which one we like the best. All three rooms were very logical and thematic. They're at least moderately difficult, so bring a full team or at least a couple of experts. Bomb Squad's probably the easiest one, followed by Crazy Train, then Captain Spoopy Bones. One nice touch is all three intro videos we saw clearly had a lot of effort put into them. The designers had fun making them; they didn't just make videos because they had to. Finally, we had Madison as a GM for two of our games and Tori for one. Both were very kind and everything you could ask for from a GM. When we needed a hint, they responded right away, showing they were paying attention the whole time, and they gave tailored clues that were just the little nudge we needed to solve the puzzle we were working on. If you're an escape room enthusiast, make sure to play multiple games at Doldrick's! read more

If you're looking for fun, whimsical room ideas, Doldrick's has some fantastic, creative rooms for sure! I mean, they have a character named Spoopy Bones which is already just delightful to say. I absolutely adore the room title of "Captain Spoopy Bones and the Magnificent Quest For Some Other Pirate's Treasure!" Besides that, the room was just really cool and featured some innovative puzzle tech that I've rarely if ever seen elsewhere and really added to the immersion. If you're into split-start rooms, it's a great one for you, but if that's less your thing, be forewarned, it may be a bit before you and the rest of your party get reunited. Not a complaint (I find it really engaging and an interesting challenge), just a heads-up. "Super Bomb Squad: Commandos Awesome" is another delight of a room. Though the theme is a bit more standard, what they do with the room is pretty brilliant, with some more physical challenges and interactivity that you don't always get elsewhere. The characters they invent for this game, along with the others, make the experience that much more entertaining. A bit of external knowledge can help you solve some of the puzzles more quickly but it's not a necessity. This room, along with the previous one, is splendidly designed and put together, making it feel like you're really in the middle of the scenario as described. Finally, I don't know how long "Red Sled Redemption" will be around as their holiday pop-up, but if you enjoy single room puzzles, this one's really adorable and fun and highly recommended as a shorter experience. All in all, a fantastic place to explore with some brilliant escape room artistry! read more

We chose the Santa's sleigh room and it was very creative and well thought out but wasn't the most exciting escape room I have ever done before. This was my first time doing an escape room and was very happy to go here with my friends. Check in and waiver signing was very quick, and there were comfortable chairs to wait while my friends arrived. Before going to the rules, we were explained the rules, some quick tips, and were told we can have as many clues as needed for the rooms. We did super bomb squad and the red sled rooms, both were were challenging, creative, and highly interactive. I must say I enjoyed the Super Bomb Squad rooms because it was highly engaging and lots of technical stuff to play with. The red sled room was also fun, but the puzzles were much more difficult. Both rooms were well decorated and themed without going overboard. You can easily talk to the game master via the mics and cameras inside the rooms to get clues or other help. However, what made the rooms most enjoyable for me, was our game master, Jocelyn, who was helpful and provided us clues when we needed it. Without ruining the game or experience, she was able to tell us whether we were in the right track, and pointed us to the correct direction when we were lost. She was also very nice to make one part of the puzzle easier for us to avoid frustration, and extend the time of another room because we were on the right track and had to finish one last puzzle to beat it. We were able to beat the bomb room with under 3 minutes to go, and the red sled room with the generous extra time Jocelyn gave us. I will say that due to the difficulty of these rooms, beginners may get lost or frustrated with the puzzles, so I highly recommend to ask for clues when you need them. Also for red sled room, claustrophobic people may get uncomfortable at one part. For each game, it was about 37 dollars after taxes, which is well worth it based on how creative, fun, and challenging the rooms are. The experience is private as well, so it is just you and your friends. Overall for my first escape room experience, this made me love escape rooms and definitely will come back to Doldricks to try another one. read more

Doldrick's is the perfect place to bring a large family group. We had 6 in our group for Spoopy, and it was the perfect amount of people for that room. We were required to wear our masks while we played the room, and while we were in the lobby. The storyline is creative, and some of the technology aspects were pretty neat. Bomb squad was alright, I wish the game host had warned us about flashing lights. The flashing was too much, and I stepped out of that area during that portion. One of the rooms in bomb squad was super cool, but Spoopy felt really balanced with their puzzles. Everything seemed very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful both times we went. I wish that this location offered a promo code to return that could be redeemed whenever. We felt pressure to book another room same day, since the discount offered required a room be booked the same day. Sometimes it's nice to be able to plan in advance escape room trips, and not feel locked in to booking immediately due to a discount. Overall positive experience, and I can understand why they have so many positive reviews. read more

If you're a newbie or even an escape room enthusiast (as our group is), this place delivers a great experience! We did Crazy Train and Bomb Squad and I enjoyed them both equally! I can't wait to come back and do the others if I'm ever back in town. Crazy train was the more unique/inventive of the two if you've done more escape rooms, but both had fun and interesting interactive puzzles, majority of which we hadn't encountered in other rooms. These two both fall into my favorites list of all the rooms I've done. Theming is well done end to end with the right touch of humor, and rooms are well-maintained. Also our room host was super nice. We did this while killing time before heading out on an evening flight home since it's pretty close both the Orlando hotel area and the airport. Highly recommend!!
