Everyone had their own little groups and pods so as someone who is alone I feel out of place and had to sit at the cafe. The bright side is they are moving to a bigger location if I heard that right so I am excited for the team and company. To sum up the location it's a place you can play video games. You can rent a room/theatre lounge for private events/gathering. You can rent a computer/consoles to play. You can join a community to play card games, they even have board games to use. You are actually rewarded with real tickets, which was authentic though I haven't seen those in many years. The rewards themselves looked pretty bad and nothing a kid would really want. A rubber ball looked like one of the best prizes. They also have an indoor mini-golf black-light court and laser tag. I haven't seen either of these, though the laser tag was crowded and looked fun. I've here before for birthday parties, the reason I was here today, was that my buddy had a basketball game here. Their sports facility looked a bit outdated and small. A basketball court made up of plastic tiles that may be regulation size on a good day. The hoops were located on the out of bounds line making it a safety concern. The scoreboard was tiny and the horn was way too loud. The spectators and players both had to sit on hard metal benches. Finally, they had one tiny overhead heater making the court area feel freezing. I didn't think I was coming to a hockey game. They have a bunch of automatic batting cages with different speeds that the ball can be pitched with. Overall, the place is okay and would be a good rainy day activity.

But over the past decade or so there has been a resurgence in arcades with retro old school video games and pinball. I've been to a few of them in NJ, NY and FL. Some are better than others in terms of parking, prices and variety of games. The better ones like Siverball in Asbury Park thrive and the clueless ones like the Museum in Daytona Beach close. The quality and selection of games at Village are top notch. There are some real gems like Fireball, Liberty Bell and The Who inspired Pinball Wizard machine (I wish they had my favorite which is 8 Ball Deluxe). Everything looks great and ran great. Probably the youngest machine in the arcade is Pac-Man and that has to be pushing 40 years old. While there were people coming in and out things never got overly crowded so as to be uncomfortable (although speaking of uncomfortable it is hot as hell inside but such is to be expected in July). What's not good about Village? The change situation. The machines of course take quarters. Unless you're bringing rolls of quarters with you, you're going to need change made for you. While Village has a single change machine on site, it only takes 1's and 5's. And in regards to those bills they should be on the crisper-newer side or else that change machine is not going to take them easily. Several people this past Sunday (self included) were fighting the thing to take bills. To expound further on this change issue, there is no ATM at the arcade or that I could see at any of the shops in the village. While there are a few other shops next door they will not make change for you which is rather inconvenient when the nearest place you're directed to is a 10 minute drive. When I say directed I don't mean by the owner or anyone at the arcade as no one fitting that description was seen in the hour we were there. That info was given by the girls next door in the ice cream shop who told me they tell people about that all the time. If you go: The arcade is open 12-5 on Saturday and Sunday only. Parking is across the street in a few lots that are shared by all of the shops in the village. As other have mentioned, all of the machines are 2 plays per quarter. While that would seem easy enough to remember if you walk around you will almost certainly find multiple machines with plays still left on them. While my review total might seem harsh, note that it's only directed at the change situation which I see as a bad business decision by the owner. I would have spent twice as much if there would have been a feasible way. The machines and set up are fabulous but as a first time visitor you're sort of set up to fail unless you know someone directly who has been here so that they can tell you exactly what you need to bring. Oh well, maybe next time.

Private Birthday Party for my 5-year old was a great success!…read more We rented the entire facility out for my son's birthday a few weeks ago (highly recommended for a large group and the ability to bring your own food & drink in) and Danielle the owner, and her team, did a great job and were on top of everything. We had many specific requests, they made everything a breeze, the facility felt cleaned and turned over prior to our event, and everything was set up as requested. My son and the kids (as well as adults) had a great time, they helped us package everything on departure (leftover food, drink, gifts, etc.) and they did it all with a smile and great attitude. If only other businesses would take the same pride Jumpers does! The staff, the mgmt team, the facility, all top notch and perfect for what we needed it to be. We will continue to be loyal customers and highly recommend them whether it's to bring your child for a few hours, or throw a private/semi-private event.

Business is lucky our child wasn't seriously hurt…read more With the weather being so cold, my wife and I were looking for an indoor place to take or 18 month old. We came across Bette's, as it's right down the road from our house. On arrival we were greeted by very friendly and helpful front desk staff as it was our first time coming. They recommended us the toddler town area and said it would be the best fit for his age. In the beginning he was really enjoying himself and loved exploring all the different activities in that area. Out of nowhere, children that were much older than toddlerhood (1-3 years old) - Came in and started playing really rough, sprinting into the bounce area of toddler town, no concern for younger kids in that space. As our child was trying to navigate that bounce area in toddler town, a boy who looked to be about 5-6 years old, that we didn't know, as well as having ZERO parent supervision at that time, grabbed our 18 month old, slammed him down and held him on the ground. The child thought this was funny and laughed, as our son was screaming and crying trying to get out of the hold. It was at this point that my wife and I leaned over and had to holler multiple times to get this kid to let go of out son. Staff in the area just stood there, less that 6 feet away, like nothing was happening. If the area is for a certain age range, children above that age range should not be playing in that area for this reason. Parents need to keep an eye on their children. There needs to be better care and concern for the younger kids. Pretty bummed about the whole experience as its really close to our home, heard such great things and aren't sure if we will return because of this. Hope this helps.

It looks like your going to an office building. There's a small sign on the front door with the name of the place but i'm telling you slow down or you'll be driving round and round trying to find what's right in front of you! By far the BEST indoor play spot on the planet! I thought i had been to some pretty good ones but this one tops them all! A lot of them make you pay for each adult but here you only have to pay for your children and it's only $9! You can't beat that for a place where you can stay as long as you want and bring your own food! Just a quick note that if you want to bring a cake you have to rent out party space. Other than that you can bring your own food or have food delivered. They even give you a free game card with a few credits on it to try out a game or two. You can then pay to load it at the kiosh to play more games. They have literally everything a child's heart desires here! Just check out the photos. There's a separate area for toddlers and smaller children. I loved that I saw staff walking the floor all throughout the day to keep things tidy. If I was a child you'd have to drag me out kicking and screaming because i'd never want to leave!
