I went to Grace Health Dental for 5 years and have good and bad things to say. My boyfriend was…read morealso a patient there for several years and we both agree on one thing- THEY OVERLY WANT TO PULL TEETH. They told me due to a couple of my upper teeth needing repair and extraction, that ALL of my upper teeth needed to be pulled and I would need a denture. From that point on they refused to care for my upper teeth at all unless it involved extraction. I saw another dentist somewhere else and paid out of pocket for, who told me I only needed a few upper teeth pulled and I got a partial from them. Thanks to the other dentist I saw, Dr Tamm in Battle Creek, I still have many of my upper teeth that Grace Health Dental simply wanted to just pull. Grace Dental also told me I needed a lower tooth pulled, I got a second opinion at My Community Dental in Battle Creek where I was told I could save that tooth with a root canal, however that place doesn't do root canals and it's been a huge pain trying to find a Medicaid provider in my area that does root canals, so I'm probably going to have that lower tooth extracted anyway, but the point is Grace Dental offered no options outside of extraction, just like they did to me previously with my upper teeth. As far as the positive about Grace Dental, they have one dentist there who I LOVE- Dr Bradford-he is older though and may not still work there. He never wanted to pull all my teeth, it was all the other dentists there. (That's another thing- you never know who will see from one appt to the next as they have many dentists there. I've even had interns there do fillings for me, however they did a good job). My boyfriend who went there for years ended up having all his teeth pulled and got full dentures, he is pretty sure they all needed to be pulled though. He just was not surprised when I was told the same. They are decent for cleanings and fillings. If you go there and are told you need an extraction, if you feel unsure about it DEFINITELY seek a second opinion. If I had not got another opinion I'd be in full dentures right now vs a small partial! I want to keep my natural teeth as long as possible and Grace Dental was NOT on board with that. (I'd also like to add I've seen a dentist every 6 months throughout my entire life, so my extraction recommendations were not due to me avoiding the dentist or anything like that.) Good luck to you!

Another employee bit the dust I hear at Grace Health. I have never seen a place that fires so many…read morepeople and then does not even tell them why they were fired. A lot of times it is other employees who have gripes against you or misinterpret situations and have miscommunication issues who file complaints. Gotta watch your back. The agency promotes employees turning on each other. Almost daily you get an email announcing someone's last day as today and then you know it is due to them being fired on the spot. If I was Grace Health management, I would wonder how they hire so many people who end up having to be fired - better yet, why are they so fire happy? They do not value their employees.
