I worked at the early childhood development center within Gallup, and was extremely disappointed by the leadership.
Management appeared to fall into the role without the qualifications or leadership skills it requires. Employee concerns were consistently ignored, and there was clear favoritism toward long-time staff. Issues that were brought forward were avoided entirely, as management seemed uncomfortable addressing conflict, which meant problems were never resolved.
There is no real HR structure in place, leaving staff without support or accountability when concerns arise. This created a toxic, unprofessional environment where employees did not feel heard or respected.
Strong leadership and accountability are essential in early childhood education, and unfortunately that foundation was missing here. read more
