Upon driving in we could see all the cows across the street from their amazing space. Easy parking and what a vibe the farm is. The owner is a fifth generation cattle farmer so my husband obviously bought about $50 of meat from the pack house lol. So many other things to enjoy, too. Lots of varieties of pumpkins. Sweet treats, iced coffee, sand box, a sand mountain, bubbles, swings, bouncy toys for the littles. This specific night had two roaring fires with s'mores to purchase. We can't wait to go back!

Today I decided to stop in after my silver sneaker's class and found it almost right across the street from Coastal Fitness where the class is held, so it's very convenient. Bought 2 containers of strawberries and each container weighed just a little over a pound and was priced at $3. When I got home, we decided to have some for lunch. Some of the strawberries were huge and there is no need to use sugar, they were so sweet, delicious. I definitely recommend Carol Sue Farms to as a place to get your strawberries, I know for sure that I'll be stopping by after classes to get more.

Before moving to NC I had no clue they existed.. man was I missing out. The place is easy to pass (I'm guilty of driving by it.. lol) since it is in the back of a residence so look out for the signs! Wow, what a great place to pick these delicious grapes! The grapes are so juicy and have so much…read morenatural sweetness to them and I've become so addicted. I've never been so excited to talk about any fruit and I would have to say it's my top favorite. I am from PA and we usually do not have these types of grapes. This is my second time here in a less than 2 weeks (because I ate so much and actually run out of the 1 gallon grapes that I picked the week before). There are about 3-4 acres of land for you to hand pick and to me, it's a pretty relaxing environment. They provide you with either a $5 half-gallon bucket or a $10 gallon bucket for you to pick your grapes in. They also provide bug repellent and hand sanitizers for you to use. One of the owners, Andrew, is super nice and thoughtful. He provided us with cold water after we got done picking grapes in 90 degrees weather. He also gave us a history of this vineyard which was past down from his grandparents. This is such a hidden gem and I would definitely come back and I recommend this to everyone.

He was so amazing over the phone gave us all sorts of information we should know and told us that pets are welcomed and encouraged! We went during the end of season and he warned us the flowers would not be as pretty as normal and we'd have to hunt for the good ones, but the flowers were gorgeous! We brought our dog and had an amazing time plus we had a beautiful flower bouquet to bring home. Since it was after season it was free but we did donate to keep it going next year! They do have scissors and cutters for you there as well and a station to clean your flowers up as well as some benches and hay bails for photo opportunities! Can't wait to come back next year!
