This started with cleaning all roof gutters and ensuring that all leaders and downspouts were not clogged by thoroughly flushing them. They then applied their chemical agent via spray method to kill any and all mold, mildew, algae and moss that was present on the cedar shingles. After a short period of time they used a wide spray power washing to rinse and flush all of the dead remains of that organic growth, as well as any tree sap from the roof. They also performed spot cleaning of selected areas of our stucco facades, masonry chimney and flagstone terrace where stubborn dirt had collected on the surface. They completed their work to my complete satisfaction in one day and cleaned up after themselves. All in all, once again, I can and do highly recommend TruCLEAN Wash for this type of roof cleaning, for cedar shingles, as well as slate and/or terra cotta roof tiles that become stained from mildew, mold, moss, sap and other tree droppings, as well as general air pollution. Each year I had several companies come in to quote on resealing. No one thought it could be done without a chemical stripper which would kill the plantings underneath. Several thought I needed to pull off all the decking planks and replace them. All of these quotes were well into the thousands of dollars. Then I noticed how beautiful my friend's deck was when I visited her in the Mendham area and got Mr. Burrini's name. He was incredibly gracious about coming up to Bergen county and assured me that this was a "standard issue" job for them. He sounded so confident and his price was so reasonable, I thought "what have I got to loose?" When I came home last Friday and saw the job they did, I nearly cried. My deck looks like I had dreamed it would when I splurged for mahogany in the first place. Everything had been neatly removed from the deck and all the plantings underneath were unscathed by the powerwashing. I think there are a lot of jokers with a power washer and cans of sealer in this business, these guys are the real deal. Each time I look at my deck I feel like throwing my arms around those guys for solving a eyesore that made me miserable for years.
