The other week while picking up some meat Heinz's ketchup 3 for 5.50. This past week it was two for 3.00 bucks.Not a bad deal at all.Local own and ruin by a friendly staff.Can't wait for the next sale.

I just looked it up and it's been family owned and operated since 1963!!! I do know the (Wayne) Shuler Family now owns it and that's a wonderful family. I rented from Wayne for 8 years and he's a stand-up, good man with integrity. The grocery store offers the convenience of a small town store but the variety of larger stores. You can get home grown tomatoes, a fresh bouquet of flowers and everything in between! The staff is friendly and efficient, so you'll be ok your way in a jiffy. If you're a local, you've likely shopped here. If you're from out of town and searching this place up, go check it out!

They get their meat delivered fresh from a local butcher so it is always better than the supermarket. The prices are a little higher than you would pay at a supermarket but that is to be expected from any little store like this. It is a great place to get last min things if you don't want to go to Food Lion or Walmart.

I have memories of my aunt making pans of biscuits and cooking country ham with red-eye gravy for breakfast and making up a picnic basket for our family's roadtrip back home once our vacations ended. There weren't many fast food options in those days or we didn't have the money to eat out so often so we'd pull over at rest areas and find a covered picnic table and breakout the baskets of goodies and eat as a family, the ham and biscuits were always one of my favorites along with a piece of cold fried chicken. Frying up a pan of Thomas Brothers Country Ham and pulling a pan of hot biscuits from the oven brought back some fond memories from the good old days. The quality of this ham is exceptional it arrived ready to cook, fully trimmed and sliced to the perfect thickness. I'm sure there are a few different options on how to prepare this, I heated a heavy pan on medium to high heat dropped in a few pats of butter then the ham and cooked for less than a minute on each side not wanting to dry it out and it was absolutely perfect. The food is always delicious and seasoned perfectly with FLAVOR. For the appetizer, the Salad Pizza is absolutely scrumptious and was recommended by our server our first visit here last year. Honestly, it keeps bringing us back. The flavors are incredible. It has feta, mozzarella, topped with organic greens, shaved onions, tossed in a lemon/dijon dressing with shaved parmesan. It's a flavor bomb in the mouth. The meatloaf, is to die for. If you're a meatloaf eater this is for you. It's so tender and juicy and perfectly seasoned. Melts in your mouth and the sauce on top is the perfect blend of sweet and savory to top it off. For my two sides this time I chose the fried brussels sprouts and the greens. The greens are always seasoned perfectly and the brussels sprouts were crispy and full of flavor. They tasted even better dipped in my meatloaf sauce so that was a win-win. My boyfriend had the special which was short ribs. For his two sides, he had greens and green beans. The short rib was perfectly tender and absolutely delicious full of flavor and moist for him. The green beans and the greens were also perfect as well full of flavor, just enough fat and butter. It's a great little date spot or a family dinner. They also have outdoor seating covered with umbrellas. There's a bar inside with a TV if you choose to go watch sports and the food here is always on point full of flavor and makes you want to come back and try more things on the menu. They also had several reasonably priced drink specials, which was a nice surprise. The service was amazing--friendly, attentive, and a big part of what made the meal so enjoyable. Overall, a really solid dining experience, and I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.
