We have a courtyard house and always dreamed of doing a large mural but could never figure out of what and where to find a person talented enough to execute our vision. Many years ago when we first moved into our home we several small murals done that had faded badly. We contacted Margarita and the next day she showed us picture and gave us great ideas about the direction to take the project, paint a Bahamas beach scene as it is our favorite place to vacation. She started the project on time, was easy to work with, took great care of my belongings and finished when she said she would. The mural turned out better than I ever imagined! She was also able to refinish our faded murals and make them look like new again. She also took a mural that was faded and of a more Mediterranean style and updated it to the BAhamas! The detail of her work, the way it looks dimensional, the colors she used , the way the cared about each and every detail requested in a work of art that WOWs whoever sees it! We were so pleased with our mural we had her paint/update our kitchen cabinets that also turned out amazing. I would highly recommend Art Turquoise , you will not be disappointed .

It was so fantastic that it took us forever to decide which two pictures we were going to buy. We ran around back and forth like crazy people trying to decide, knowing at the time we were renting and had no place to hang what we were buying. Now in our own home in Inverness, FL, the pictures have come out of storage and we are thrilled to have them hanging in the family room, perfectly illustrating the fascinating Suncoast - Gulf Coast landscape of salt marshes, rivers, lakes, exotic trees, Spanish Moss, boardwalks and hidden derelict docks that we have fallen in love with. Still having space to fill, and equally fond of Jorge's wildlife and waterfall pictures, we are now going to call him and go pick out more pictures to finish off the room. Two years ago we also had him enlarge onto canvas a group portrait of our daughter and her middle school soccer teammates - turned out great and was a hit as a Christmas gift two years ago. Congratulations to the organizers on this 15th annual Festival for another incredible experience…read more This is my only "taste of Greece" in these parts and I always take advantage of it. There's always so much to see and do here...especially eating!!! Everything is homemade and the desserts are some I have never seen. In fact the line for them is always the longest. New this year is an outdoor area so there's even more seating in the beautiful sun. If you should need an interesting gift for someone you'll certainly find something here as most vendors sell Greek items as well as some groceries. Entertainment is always fun as anyone is welcome to dance to their fantastic band. Then there are the professional dancers who attend UF and perform the classic Greek choreographed dances. Definitely the best 3 day festival around that good for kids and families!

In a warehouse like room, but all the tables were dressed up festively. Souvlaki was boring, fries were overcooked, gyro was just ok, napoleon was kind of nasty--basically just frosting piled up with very tough phillo layers in between frosting layers. Kid activity area looked just awful! Once was enough. We may try Tarpon Springs next time for Greek festivals.
