Motown music was loved by all people and it was evident in the fantastic audience that were so enthusiastically enjoying it. This was my first time at this venue and I loved it. They sell Captain Lawrence IPA which is one of my favorites, They even have an outdoor area for use during the intermission. There is a public parking lot next door but it fills up so you may have to circle around the area to find street parking. I found a spot just a block away. Peekskill is becoming a popular destination for locals and visitors to enjoy a variety of activities and great restaurants.

A reality hammered home as you spend a glorious fall afternoon parked in a stadium in what amounts to an amenity-free bunker that fully embraces the joys of concrete. If it weren't for the constant buzz of your smartphone inside your vest, you might just as well taking in a game from 1951 -- as it should be. Dating back to the times of the Dutch colonialists it pays homage to a time in our country's history - specifically to our beautiful Empire State. I'm a lover of both history and nature and you get both when come to visit. The museum is the house of a man named Jacob B. And the farm is a little farm but still a farm. Would be cool if they had a coffee shop in site like good espresso and can be a place to come enjoy the outdoors or something. Anyways. I was scrolling through IG and came across a really nice event that they were hosting for St Nicholas day. I'm so glad we came from the city to check it out. My teen wasn't really impressed as nothing is impressive to his standards if it isn't tech related of course but my two littles enjoyed themselves so much. They made Christmas cards and enjoyed a special treat at the end of our event. They met and fed a horse and st nick himself! Our story teller who sat at the fire side was engaging and had just the right amount of time telling her story.

Maple Weekend brings sugaring demos and tours, a sweet little petting zoo for the kids, wood sculpture demos, and an awesome pancake breakfast. It's amazing how many delicacies they can create from this glorious sap: syrup, candy, maple peanuts (you'll want to buy at least 2 bags - these are like crack!), maple cream, and maple bourbon (cheers!) too. It was great that we went early because there wasn't much parking. We went inside for their pancake and bacon breakfast which was awesome- best part.. the maple syrup! They also had tables set up selling their maple products, we bought the syrup and it's already all used up. My boyfriend says he will never use another brand of syrup again after having this one. We got to see wood carving and the maple machinery during the small tour. It was a quick visit but very much enjoyable.
