They'll have a class going on, while I'm in personal training, and members & coaches from the class will come over and say you're doing a great job, keep up the good work! I've never found it in any other gym, anywhere. If you're looking for a FitFam, you will find it here at Tedesco Body Shop! Gyms can be intimidating and full of body shame if you don't fit a certain standard. Tedesco is none of those things. The first time I walked in for a 5 am boot camp class I was greeted with enthusiasm. It has been over ten years since I've done anything like it, so I was nervous and also realistic about my abilities. The coach demonstrated every activity and also worked with me through modifications where I needed them. What was also refreshing was seeing all sorts of body types in the class. This is definitely a place that welcomes and embraces everyone who walks in the door. They offer fitness boot camp, kickboxing and strength boot camp classes along with open gym time. I've attended all of them and really enjoyed every one. What's great is that they are something different every day. Each day focuses on a different muscle but the order and which activity changes. They also regularly host challenges with different themes. For example, I'm currently in the "Little Black Dress" challenge where in addition to the workouts, we get meal plans and nutrition consults. You can also just come to the gym to do your own workout. I never thought I'd be someone who looked forward to 5 am workouts, but Tedesco converted me. This place is amazing, so if you are out east and looking for a gym, definitely check them out. You won't regret it.

Yet just like ending a relationship even one that ran it's course, I was displaced and unsure what to do next. I, along with a slew of other ladies turned friends from our old gym began trying out some other places. In total I went to 5 other gyms before trying Fit4Life Boxing Club. I found some common problems in the other places. Lack of classes, lack of cleanliness, lack of class times, lack of variety, they all equaled lack of interest, but this "dating" period was kind of fun, dare I say exciting to try out so many different places. I and my gym crew prefer a place with structured programs. I do have a basic membership to a box gym and though I know how to work out, I prefer someone tell me what to do. It keeps me accountable and makes me feel like I really got the most out of my hour. So enter the boxing club, I was really unsure about this place at first. Me and two gym friends came here during a free week they were offering at the end of the summer. I had done no contact kickboxing classes, but that did not really prepare me for what was in store. By the time the class was over I was drenched and exhausted, but I wasn't sold. I don't know why. It was an excellent workout, it was fun, and went fast! But I think I was a little scared of commitment. After being "married" to a gym I wanted to leave well before it was over, I had cold feet. Luckily they were offering some good intro rates off the free week and me and my posse signed up for the month. It didn't take a month. Within about a week we all knew this was where we wanted to be. As it turned out not just a couple of us but basically everyone that went to my old gym joined here. I also invited other friends and co-workers to try it out and they loved it and joined as well. So to anyone looking for a challenging workout that's fun, stop in! Well not now because COVID-19, but hopefully soon. They have classes 7 days a week. Super early mornings, 5am classes are awesome, to 7 pm classes and in between. They have great instructors who know you. Out of classes of 30-50 people they still know your name. They are very helpful and encouraging the whole class. Each class is different so you never have to work through the same workout. The first class is always free and there are many different options for memberships from punch cards to 12 month membership plans. Nothing really helps get the aggression out than going 15 rounds with a heavy bag! Lastly they have great programs for kids and offer classes specific to people with Parkinson disease called Rock Steady. Fit4Life is a great gym that also gives back to the community. I am very happy I found this place.

Josh is extremely knowledgeable about all facets of the body, exercise, gym equipment, and nutrition.  These skills became apparent  when he designed and implemented an individualized training program for me.  He focuses on helping you achieve long-term fitness goals, but adjusts workouts weekly and monthly to meet your particular needs at different stages along your fitness journey.  For example, before I started working with Josh, I had lower back pain that would flair up  from time to time.  Josh has been mindful of my injury history, while modifying workouts, catering to any limitations I might have, so I can continue to progress.  Over the years he has helped me develop a stronger, and more resilient core, which has substantially reduced the frequency of painful back episodes I used to have. Josh is also good at understanding my current mental and physical capacity for training on any given day.  As a result, he is able to  make adjustments to my program which set me up for success, despite work fatigue, or occasional lapses in motivation.  This means he understands when I can be pushed hard, and when I need a lighter day if I'm particularly burned out for other reasons. This has enabled me to maintain my fitness routine during the past 5 years without dreading them.  I enjoy my workouts which hasn't always been the case  with prior training experiences. The Training Revelations studio is great.  The facility and equipment is comprehensive, clean, and orderly.  Because only one client is working out at a time, it reinforces how personalized the experience truly is. I also want to note that during the COVID-19 crisis, Josh has made himself available through video conferencing to help me continue to maintain an exercise routine at home.  I definitely recommend Training  Revelations for personal training! Josh's expertise, and unique approach to training, has allowed me to consistently work out in a way  that is sustainable for the long term.

I'm also lazy when it comes to exercise and physical motivation. I knew I needed a trainer, but was afraid of injuring myself and of being intimidated. Josh is certainly extremely knowledgeable about the physical components of training, such as anatomy and safety. But the most valuable and important attribute he has provided is that he LISTENS! Before I formally started working with Josh, we talked. Our conversation involved more than collecting medical information and was definitely NOT a sales pitch. Josh actively asked about my goals and fears, and why I wanted to train. He was very clear about what training could and could not do to help me meet my goals, and also what would be expected of me. As far as the inevitable training question--"Does he kick your ass?" Yes, when I genuinely need it. But in 100% of our time together, Josh has always treated me with courtesy, respect and a sense of humor.

Every class we have had here has been taught by an instructor with a positive attitude and great energy - teachers who encourage excellence and not stagnation were important to us when we picked this place over others, and we are thrilled. My kids love the upbeat feel of this place and always leave feeling productive and happy and they get a great workout after sitting in school all day. I have noticed they are more focused since starting martial arts and that has carried over into school as well. Plus they have fun :) We love it here and feel very welcome. I would like to share my experience with No Limits Martial Arts School…read more Initially, we were informed that the cost for enrollment would be $175 a month, but later found out there is a $45 testing fee charged every other month only because I was notified by my bank after they had taken it out already, which was not clearly stated upfront. We understand there are policies in place regarding parental approval for these charges; however, we were not notified before the charges occurred. I did not appreciate how deceptive it was. Also, we observed that class sizes were VERY quite large, often exceeding 30+ students per session with only one instructor and two teenager assistants. This created a chaotic environment that made it difficult for the children to focus on their training. Our experience turned even more sour when we communicated our decision to withdraw my grandson from the program and explore other karate schools. Despite informing the staff on three separate occasions, we were still subjected to four attempts to charge our card for continued enrollment. This led us to contact our bank as a protective measure. I believe it is super important for businesses to respect their customers' decisions, and I felt that the charge and repeated/continued attempts to charge were EXTREMELY inappropriate. I hope that sharing our experience will help others to be very cautious and read the fine print carefully. Lastly, it was disheartening to see a one-star review left on my family's business's page shortly after sharing our honest feedback. They're the first ones to say they practice honesty , but then when we do, they act out in spite. This act was left from the owners significant other and seemed unprofessional and motivated by spite, especially since the owner, her No Limits business nor her significant other has never engaged with my family's business . Nor has she attempted herself to fix any issues. My intention in sharing this review is not to disparage the school, but rather to highlight our experience and encourage improvements in communication and business practices. I genuinely hope they learn from this and take steps to ensure a better experience for future students and their families.
