The food was exquisite. And the staff extremely helpful. Menu is only in German but our server was patient and showed us pics of dishes we asked about. I had pumpkin soup that was so awesome. Soup was hot and so was the bowl so it stayed warm til gone. I put salt on everything but not on this soup. I also had stuffed mushroom- app size. Was one good size mushroom stuffed with walnuts and covered in cheese. Watercress salad on side and little sides of fruits and nuts. The dinner portion prob would have been 2 mushroom but with the soup it was a lot of food. Hubby had cordon blu- but this one is made with pork. Tasty and tender, with fries, hot and crispy and sautéed zucchini, delish! Two others in our party had chicken with Spoetzl and zucchini as well. No one was disappointed. Great atmosphere. Stopped around 1:00pm while passing through Liechtenstein and found this restaurant on yelp. It was packed with older clientele but we were able to find a lake view seat outside. They do not have English menus so make sure you read German or have a translator like google. We ordered the fish and chips and the pork snitzel. Both were very good. They have a decent wine menu but we opted for the wheat beer, which was very good as well. The lake view with the castle on the hill was awesome. It is a little pricey but I would eat here again. read more

Its a really nice place to relax in the spring and summertime. You can enjoy good food and drinks with a beautiful view by the sea of Buchs. I can recommend this place for large groups or a date during the day (of course in the evening its cozy too). I was there several times and I always enjoyed it. Of course its not cheap, but its not more expensive when I compare it too the other places (restaurants, bars) around. So enjoy your day with a visit at this place. :) 4/5 read more
