There were little league teams playing inside the park, as well as people walking along the trails that run along the length of this place. Along the trails are workout stations, which was great for a fitness enthusiast such as myself. This park, much like this part of the IE, is a gem. Clean, safe, and a community that supports the blue line family and the veteran community. I'd give this great park six stars, if I was given the option.

There are big canopies that tower over the playground equipment, which was a relief on the hot 90-degree day that we visited. The shade keeps the equipment cool, so kids can actually enjoy it. I would say that this playground skews a little on the young side. Kids 10 and younger would probably enjoy this the most. Every third time I go to the Jacuzzi, it isn't working and I've complained over and over again and only get a lot of Nothing. They need to change the way they turn the Jacuzzi on because the fob system is fallible and constantly breaks down. I've told this to them over and over again for five years and they do nothing about it. I'm wondering why they didn't add another Jacuzzi to the other pool so that if one broke down residence could go to the other whoever's planning Everything here doesn't know what they're doing. Dogs! Unleashed dogs!…read more My complaint is not about the disk golfers. They are great! They are alway polite to a fault. If you need to walk by where they are playing? They actually stop and wait for you to pass. I've had that happen many times. My complaint is about people with their dogs. I had another incident with someone who didn't honor the leash law. Small, but a reminder that I can't go to this park with my small dog. It's just not safe for him and it might not be for me either. I don't know these dogs who are loose. Well, at least I wasn't jumped on by a large dog, like last time. That was pretty bad and the dog did hurt me. What if that had been a small child? So, my second incident... I actually saw a woman walk out of the park, leaving her dog inside the park, to choose whether to follow her or come towards me and my 10 pound dog. There's a walkway, back into the adjoining neighborhood. This was not through the parking lot. The medium sized dog, maybe 40-45 pounds, was anxious as to which way to choose. He/she started to come towards us. I mean... honestly! She would no doubt defend her actions by saying her dog is friendly... ...yadda, yadda. Point is, THERE IS A LEASH LAW THAT IS ***NOT HONORED!*** People who don't leash their dogs here are growing in this park. No one does! And because no one does, everyone seems to think it's ok. It isn't! It's not ok. While a large dog might be friendly, they can pounce on a small dog and injure it. Or a small child! If your dog is unleashed, it's out of your control and that's the point. The whole thing makes it near impossible to use this park. It's in my neighborhood so that just should not be.
