We cannot stop sharing the excellent service we received from Mr Houston and his team. They delivered high-quality customer service from the moment we walked in for the meeting with Mr Houston to the moment we stepped out of the limousine at the repass location. Mr. Houston was welcoming, warm, and friendly. He was very transparent during our discussion about the finances. We wanted to purchase our casket from another source and Mr. Houston was very accommodating of our wishes. He took the time to explain different types of cemeteries and interment systems so that we were able to make well-educated decisions. The information was clear and had no tricky fine print in the contract. The pleasant, homely ambience of the funeral home encouraged us the celebrate our dad's life rather than mourning a loss. Due to the pandemic, accommodation is restricted to 30-35 persons in the funeral home, which was fine for our family. We were very pleased with the dressing and makeup of the body. We used a Christian minister and a vocalist provided by the funeral home. I am a Christian and was not sure how well a funeral home preacher would deliver. Again, they delivered beyond our expectations. The minister skillfully blended our family cultures in his message to us. The vocalist was anointed, to say the least. Another wow moment for us was seeing the program presentation when we arrived for the service. CHFH created an impressive program on glossy 11 by 17 paper, definitely a keepsake. Mr Houston has a spirit of excellence that permeates every aspect of his business. My family is happy we worked with him and do not hesitate to recommend CHFH.

Lisa explained things so that I was never overwhelmed in making decisions. My Mom had been ill and I was afraid that she would not look good but again I was wrong. My mom looked amazing. For the wake, people were able to leave video/Audio messages for my family. Also, the funeral home has a service where they put your program online and provide a private, unique URL that you can share. This was great for those friends and family who were unable to make it to the services. Everything they did helped to ease the most stressful and emotional time of my life. I will be forever thankful.

The death of our loved one, who was only 31 years old, came unexpectedly. We certainly wanted to find a dignified place to say our last goodbyes and this one was recommended to us by another member of our family whom we trust. Nick Grillo worked with us from start to finish to make sure we were satisfied in every aspect. The establishment itself was beautiful and clean. It was wonderful to know we'd have the entire vicinity to ourselves and our mourning guests. We were all able to grieve peacefully, share memories and say our last goodbyes while Rob, a member of the staff, continuously kept us up to date and ensured the beautifully-made obituary cards were always stocked for the guests. We chose to cremate our loved one and were given his ashes a few days after the funeral. He was informative and pleasant about the pending questions we had during our final meeting. We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to give their loved ones a final service that is graceful, peaceful and dignified. Sending love and appreciation on behalf Omar S.'s family.

I found Terry to be a good source of knowledge and very straight forward. (That is my style). If you are looking to go somewhere and cry on there shoulder, this might not be the place for you. But the intake process is pretty lengthy. It took about 2 hours in total to complete all of the paperwork and making choices about the services. This could easily take 3-4 hours if you are not sure what you want or if you are a very indecisive person. Once the intake was completed and I had left the funeral home, I had Terrys direct contact information and I was able to communicate seamlessly at all times through a phone call or text message. Now on the day of everything was as expected and I was very surprised at the level of service of communication that Nick provided. At one point the flowers that I had ordered from a local vendor had not shown up and he called them on my behalf and ensured to mitigate the issue. The flowers were delivered and I was even refunded for them. Through the service Nick was hands on and available if anything was needed and even helped to coordinate an idea for a balloon release at the end of the service which was initially an idea that I had, but it was not a fully developed idea and he knew exactly what to do and when to do it. All in all I would recommend this company for anyone who needs a service for a loved one. It was shockingly easy, to the point where I think the hardest part was selecting photos/prayer cards/etc. He arranged with our funeral home in Manila. The facility is very modern but still traditional. The service was top notch, with every small request accommodated with ease. If you know how Filipinos are, then you would know how he runs his business. I felt like he took care to treat us like we were his own family.
