After moving I decided to find a new doctor. After searching for days online I came across Dr. sheyna carroccio! Long story short she helped me solve my IUD problems. I literally love her so much! She's so down to earth and comforting. She listens and doesn't rush you off and actually explains things in a way you'll understand. I look forward to seeing/talking with her at every appointment. If you're on the look out for a new OBGYN see Dr. Carroccio! She's amazing!!!!! The front desk staff could use some improvement. Their friendliness and attitudes definitely don't match the doctors/nurses in the back. They seemed to be bothered when you check in/check out and don't seem to be very informed in the insurance co pays/etc.

My experience with North Florida Women's Care was extremely disappointing and honestly felt more…read morelike pressure than care. At 36 weeks pregnant, I was already being asked repeated of times for cervical checks and told they were "very necessary," when in reality, many women are told these are optional unless there's a clear medical reason. Instead of being given balanced information, I felt like my choices were being dismissed.do your research people care about you and your baby !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What really crossed the line for me was how early and aggressively C-sections were being brought up. At only 36 weeks, I had multiple conversations that felt like they were steering me in that direction without any urgent medical need. That didn't feel like preparation--it felt like unnecessary escalation. I specifically had issues with both Liann Ammar, MD and Karen Harris, MD, MPH. Dr. Harris in particular came across as very pushy about the idea of a C-section before we were even close to that point, which made me extremely uncomfortable. Instead of feeling supported, I felt like I was being managed and directed. Another major problem is the complete lack of consistency. Every single appointment, I saw a different doctor. There was no continuity of care, no real relationship, and no sense that anyone truly understood my pregnancy or preferences. It felt impersonal and disorganized. Between the inconsistency, the pressure around procedures, and what I experienced as a lack of transparency, I made the decision to leave and go elsewhere for my care. This is my personal experience, but I strongly encourage anyone considering this practice to do their own research and advocate for themselves. Don't just accept everything at face value--ask questions about interventions like Pitocin, epidurals, and C-sections so you understand the risks, benefits, and alternatives. For example, Pitocin can intensify contractions significantly, which can make labor feel much more intense than natural progression. Epidurals can be helpful for pain, but they also come with trade-offs that should be clearly explained so you can make an informed choice that's right for you. At the end of the day, you deserve to feel heard, respected, and fully informed during your pregnancy--not pressured or rushed into decisions. Based on my experience, I would not recommend North Florida Women's Care. Then I went to a woman's birthing center in Ocala that doesn't shove epidurals or C-sections or anything of the such in your face and I had my baby there. They did a wonderful job they take care of you like family. I highly recommend them to anybody that's looking for someone that's gonna care for you and your baby that's gonna keep up with you and your I just want the best for you and your New born baby!!!!

I've always been the type that never wanted to see new doctors, but when I moved here I had to find…read moreall new doctors which was something I wasn't to thrilled about. When I selected North Florida Women's Physicians I was assigned Sheyna Carroccio as my GYN. I went in for a problem my regular physician couldn't seem to find out what was wrong. My first impression of Dr. Carroccio was everything I could have asked for in a doctor. She was very kind, and understanding of my concerns. After the first visit she was able to do a biopsy and diagnose the problem. Something I had been suffering from for years, and saw other doctors about. I was so happy to finally have an answer and be able to be treated. I knew after the first meeting, that when the time came for me to start a family, I wanted her as my doctor. My first pregnancy was a surprise, and I suffered horrible anxiety which pregnancy seem to make worse. Dr. Carroccio saw me right away, and calmed every fear that I had. She never rushed me, and always spent time with me to ensure I was comfortable, and understood the condition of my baby. With anxiety I called several times with the feeling that something wasn't quite right. She didn't hesitate to have me come in to check the baby, and make sure everything was perfect. Nearing the end of my pregnancy I called again with that feeling that something wasn't right, and once again she didn't think twice about having me come in. Which was a great thing, because I had extremely high blood pressure. I was induced, and my baby was born happy and healthy. Carroccio was amazing, and I couldn't thank her enough for treating me in such a kind and caring manner. During my second pregnancy once again my anxiety was its highest. She gave me the same care that I had received during my first. I knew that whenever I had a concern that I could always count on her. I delivered a beautiful baby girl, and I couldn't have been happier with the care I had received from Carroccio and her nurses. I always talk highly of her, and would recommend her to anyone who was looking for a OB/GYN. She's a wonderful doctor. If you're looking for someone for just your routine GYN care or you're pregnant and can't seem to find the right OB; I would give Dr. Carroccio a call. She has always given me advice that is in the best interest of my health, and has never made me feel ashamed about my body or my weight. She's always gave me helpful tips on how to be the healthiest I can be. She's truly amazing, and I know you'll love her too.

Then you walk up to the house and... wait for it... walk right in. Later, when I was waiting, the UPS guy walked right in and walked right back. Planned Parenthood is an essential service and we are lucky they exist. But it always made me sad to have to get buzzed in and talk to the receptionist through bullet proof glass. Because it shouldn't have to be like that. And here, it's not. This is how Planned Parenthood should be. Super nice staff. They were kind and compassionate. Very informed. Asked domestic violence questions and good on them. My experience with everyone there was wonderful. Support your local Planned Parenthood.

This one visit completely changed my mind on the services they provide and the care that they give to patients. The NP that I met with was so friendly and nice and has tons of answers to questions that I needed. She was great from the moment I met her to the moment that I left her office. The front desk was busy but she still made time to greet me with a smile and told me to refer friends! I believe the front desk person was Amanda and she was wonderful! I cannot begin to tell you what a great experience I had at this location. I would highly recommend this place if you are needing treatments of any kind that they focus on!
