It's Sunday afternoon and I have gotten zero acknowledgement... not "I'm sorry you had a bad experience," not "Here's what we can do to fix it." So now in addition to being unhappy with the quality of the flowers, I'm also unhappy with the lack of customer service. "I paid $350 for a casket spray. The funeral was yesterday, and by the time the viewing started, some of the roses already had already started to brown around the edges. If someone had just taken the time to peel them away I would have never been aware of it but honestly those are the kind of flowers they usually put on discount at the local grocery store, because they're not fresh. Today when I went to pick the flowers up, all of the hydrangeas were limp and lifeless. There was another arrangement from a different florist that had hydrangeas and they added a little plastic spike with a water reservoir in it and those hydrangeas look great today. The funeral was for xxxx xxxxxxxxx at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home. Please let me know how we can rectify this, this is my first experience with your business, and it was not a good one. I chose you because the funeral home recommended you, even said that many times you stop by to inspect the flowers yourself, and they warned me that another local florist usually delivered flowers like the ones I received."

The florist was the most unhelpful person I've dealt with in a flower store before. The cheapest of anything I could find was $40 and when I was trying to ask her if there were anything smaller or cheaper to bring to the visitation (in a vase to set on a table) and she just gave me the dumbest look like she had no idea what I was talking about and I'm crazy. I showed her the flowers I was looking at as an example (just wanting smaller/ cheaper) and all she said was "those are cemetery flowers." I realized this, hence why I was asking for anything else. She made me so uncomfortable and felt stupid for asking. There's no grocery store with a flower department around so I ended up having to go to the funeral empty handed.

She LOVED the arrangement, said it was the prettiest she had ever received. Her sister later confirmed that Ferguson Florist does very nice work. Oh and the price was very fair!
