Bought 20 crabs yesterday for 10.00 each. All were soft shell. Should have checked closer!

On our…read morelast visit I got all three. 2 pounds of halibut, 2 pounds of Dungeness crab and a dozen live oysters from a local bay. I also picked up a quart of the managers clam chowder he makes fresh every day. Service is quick and everything is packaged well to go. The shop is clean and tidy which is important when dealing in these kinds of perishable ingredients. Once I left, my wife and I headed out to the beach to make lunch. I shucked the oysters to serve on the half-shell, opened up the crab meat and took the top off the quart of hot chowder. Everything was delicious!

I came in and placed an order for a big party I was having, and when I arrived they had it all ready to go in a box with lots of ice. The smoked scallops and oysters were a huge hit; I made a crab-mac with their fresh picked shelled dungeoness, and shrimp cocktail with Oregon shrimp. 10 lbs of mixed manila/butter clams all fresh, all popped, yummy. Great friendly service. Prices are, well, not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for!

I finally decided to stop in this weekend to visit the factory; I bought one pint of extra small oysters and the gal told me I would have to wait until after the workers finished their break; not knowing why I agreed and waited - after all my assumption was theyd pull out some prepackaged pint of oysters. Imagine my delight when i saw that they were sorting fresh oysters and had one pint just for me and the worker brought it up to the window freshly signed and dated!! The oysters are always the best; they're fresh they're sorted correctly (oyster lovers will understand this) I can't imagine recommending any other oysters to my friends, but this particular pint THE BEST EVER!!! Keep up the great work! Prices were extremely good here! AT&T cellular coverage here is non-existent (only important if youre trying to check in here)

After trying them out, I decided I like the regular smoked and habanero smoked best. I love the fact that there are little bits in the cans with the whole oysters. They are my favorite part. I order more than 12 to get free shipping, and the last time I ordered 30 cans and gave 10 to my dad who also loves oysters. I like the way they use local Washington newspapers to stuff the shipping box. I really really love these oysters! Please keep doing what you do! I would attach a picture, but all you would see is my last can which is empty. I just ordered more and thought I would pop over and do a review while it was on my mind.

No! This place was…read morereally disappointing. Came here based on reviews, but I. would caution anyone to steer clear of this place. It started with flat champagne drinks. That's just a fail, and it suggests a place that doesn't bother keeping things fresh. It kind of went downhill from there. We were looking for nice fresh fish and chips, wile we were out along the coast. We live near the coast ourselves, and are no strangers to good seafood. We decided to do the Cod and the Halibut fish and chips. While the halibut seemed fresh, the cod was waxy and looked old, and frankly i found it somehow mildly nauseating. I couldn't bring myself to teat it. The batter was crsipy, but lacked seasoning and tasted really flat (cardboard?). Aside from that, the coleslaw seemed pretty old soggy. Gross. Not impressed at all - some of the worst fish and chips I have ever had. Some people may like this kind of food - but i will actively avoid this place the next time in Astoria. Hard pass. i'm nauseous just thinking back to my experience here. Could hardly get away fast enough...

The halibut was soft and wet rather than dry and meaty. The crab louie salad was underwhelming in both size and flavor. We spent over $60 and didn't feel like we got much.
