A bit pricey for smoked oysters but we will give it a try. They also sell Kelp Chilli crisp at this store front! Individual oysters were sold out. There are seating tables outside facing the Willapa river. Hours are 9-5pm.

Bucket of oysters and delish cocktail sauce, oyster shooter in a souvenir shot glass.

Great oysters and location BUT... the signage to the store is non-existent. We arrived at the same time as two other couples, parked way too far up the hill and walked around looking super lost and nobody who worked there offered help. We actually all almost left until we stumbled upon the driveway and then around a random corner to find the store. Better signage would have made the experience better. On the other hand... the oyster shooters were amazing and the shot glass you get to keep was great! The bucket of pre-shucked oysters was perfect too. And their smoked oysters were delish! Will be back now that we know how to get in.

Love this place! Fresh seafood and friendly staff. We love to cook their oysters on the campfire!

Really great stop on our way to Portland. The shell-on oysters were huge compared to what we saw in the city. And the hinge was always clean and easy to deal with. And the very sweet cashier gave me a fried oyster straight out of the batch she had cooked for her own lunch. Try to find that in the city. Didn't see any signs offering a tour. Would be nice if they could manage.

Bakers dozen - very good

This place is pretty freaking awesome! A dozen live oysters for 10$?! What? Literally less than half of what I pay in Seattle. They've got a cool little spot for you to sit and shuck or bbq, whichever you prefer. It's kind of like Taylor on Chuckanut, for those of you "in the know"; except more than 50% less expensive. I will say, though, that these oysters are not, to me, as good as the ones at Taylor. They're less briny and are not as "cupped." Maybe they're tumbled less? Dunno. Either way, they're still really good and this place is 100% worth checking out if you're driving by or in the area.

Amazing experience. My husband and I were driving up the coast to Seattle to catch a flight and stopped by Goose Point oysters. We were not sure if we should stop because it looks like an industrial building from the outside. But I'm glad we did. In the back they have a small sitting area and a BBQ - you can eat oysters and grill them if you like. We bought about 2 dozens for $20, one dozen was pre shucked and they gave us lemons, hot sauce and cocktail sauce and the other dozen were fresh / live that we put on the grill. It was the first time ever that we had grilled oysters. They pop open from the heat and they were delicious. They don't sell alcohol but we brought our own beer - we sat out by the water and had an excellent time! I recommend it if you want to enjoy some oysters or if you're buying to take home.

Passed by this place on the way to Seattle, what a GREAT find and hidden gem?! The oysters here are so fresh... pre-shucked ones (still in the shells) are $11/dozen. Finished a whole dozen by myself. The oysters are sweet and nutty. Definitely stop by if you are on 101!

This was my first time going to an actual oystery and I wasn't too sure what to expect. Well of course plenty of Pacific oysters and for just about $1 each. That wasn't too bad and there was outside seating with a nice view. So far so good. Then came the shucking...if you have never done this before it's definitely not as easy as it looks. They provide a large glove and a shucking knife. Some oysters were hard to open and broken shell got mixed into the oyster making it impossible to eat. We wasted about half until we got it down. The oysters were fresh and the staff was friendly and as helpful as they could be. Next time I'll order the shooters!

Good value, excellent quality, can't wait to go back! They were shucked so it was easy to make oyster shooters!

The fresh oysters worked great with their cocktail sauce and Abraham taught us how to shuck oysters, my entire family couldn't stop.

This place is now called Skylar's and under new management…read more We went in, apparently on their first "official" day. There is lots of promise in this new fledgling restaurant. With some improvements, I hope to be able to give a 5 star rating. First the good: the building is nicely finished and clean! If I remember correctly, the original was a bit divey and dumpy. This was clean, shiny and bright! Small, the capacity is (I think the sign said) 65 people. So it's not big, but it's laid out nice, and clean! We were greeted quickly by a kind waiter who informed us it was his first day. He did good for a first day. The menu is small, & heavy on the oysters, which isn't surprising for the area. Unfortunately, I am not an oyster fan. But, there were plenty of other things to order. Luckily, we didn't feel like eating fish and chips, because they had run out. So I am assuming their fish and chips must be good for that to have happened. I went with the three tacos, having to choose three shrimp tacos cause they were out of fish as stated above and the other choice were oysters. lol! No problem. I like shrimp. My husband got the shrimp po'boy and fries. Here's where some corrective criticism comes in. The wait time for food was far too long. We sat for about little over 30 minutes before we got our food. Granted, they were apologetic and knew it was too long. I'm not sure what the problem was, but they did make good on it by taking 15% off our bill. They didn't need to do that, but we did appreciate it. I get it....they're new and figuring it out. I have no doubt whatever the issue was, it'll be improved upon. We appreciated the fact that the waiter and the other gal working (I am assuming the owner?) kept checking in and apologizing. As far as the food: we ordered a bowl of chips and salsa to start. Nothing outstanding about them, except we were so hungry we snarfed them down pronto. The salsa tasted like it was out of a jar, not bad but not fresh homemade. (If I'm wrong I do apologize.) My husband said the shrimp po'boy was tasty. He just wished it was a bit bigger. It came on a smallish roll, cut in half with some steak fries. It did look like a small portion for a big fellow, and he left feeling a bit hungry. My tacos were ok. They came with fried, crispy shrimp layered with some slaw in corn tortillas. They were tasty, but, the slaw was overpowering the taste of the shrimp. I wished it had been the other way around. The slaw was very sweet. Not bad, but I felt like it was more a sweet slaw taco instead of a shrimp taco. This review isn't going to stop us from going again. I'd like to try their fish and chips and their burger. And we really want this little place to be successful cause it's been far too long without any restaurants in our tiny little communities. (Nemah and Bay Center) So, I hope to be able to change this star rating to a 5 very soon!

We walked in and about 5 people were all hanging out at the bar, including employees. You could tell they were all locals and they all turned and watched us. Oh their clam chowder was so delicious and hearty for $5 a bowl it was a bargain. I also ordered fried fish and oysters for $14. It came with 2 pieces of fish and 2 huge fried oysters and fries. Both fish and oysters were delicious. Service was quick and friendly.

They handled our table of 10 really well. Drinks were creative, pretty and delicious. We shared starters and salads and enjoyed them all. Fried oysters (needed more of that delicious sauce!), fried green tomatoes, and foresters' toast were all delicious. The mushrooms and sauce on that toast is one of the best things I've eaten in a long time. We loved the arugula salad. Beautifully presented and the flavors shined - pine nuts, parm and truffle. The sorghum salad was both a surprise and comforting. Such an interesting salad! Everyone loved their entrees. I had the fried chicken. Some of the best I've had. (Note: you can request their spicy sauce on the side, and it's worth it. Doesn't hide the chicken flavor but enhances.) But IT almost overshadowed by the biscuit. I'm going to dream about that crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside biscuit. Loved the mashed potatoes with pan gravy and collards as well. Others had shrimp and grits, pork chop, and rock fish. Everyone raved. Frankly, I don't think you can go wrong here. A memorable meal that I'd be happy to enjoy weekly.

Biscuits are so good and I am not a biscuit lover, I normally find them heavy and dry. These are light fluffy and taste delicious, especially when accompanied by the homemade raspberry jam. My husband loves oysters and theirs are the best he's had in the state. Everything was delicious. And the surroundings are lovely and serene.
