Good Earth is such a gem! It's one of my favorite places to go for all things natural and organic…read more They have an amazing selection of organic foods and medications--they really care about high quality products. But honestly, what keeps me coming back is their tea selection. It's incredible. Whether you're looking for something herbal, energizing, or soothing, they've got it all. A couple of years ago, I bought a pair of Birkenstocks here (yes, so random but they have an entire selection), and I learned so much about them. The staff was super knowledgeable, helping me figure out the right fit and style. Good Earth is like target. Always leaving with more than you came for.

I came in here once a few years ago and didn't buy anything. Now that I've evolved into someone who…read moreappreciates food as fuel and aims to consume primarily real, whole foods, I absolutely loved this shop. I saw so many products that are top quality - ones that are free of chemicals, dyes, preservatives, etc. that's in most foods you find at your typical grocery. I spotted great brands such as Real Salt, Nordic Naturals, Braggs, Evolved, and more. I also loved that they had a huge wall of natural kids medicines and homeopathy. When our baby was sick, they were hard to find at any of the big stores and I'm so grateful that they carry them here, as I don't want to give any dyes or harmful ingredients to such a small little human. They also have some local produce (saw the beautiful mushrooms), local GF bread (yay, Native!), local honey, local Tinker, Limelight, and Blue Mind coffee beans, and more. So many great options that will make your body feel amazing. They have rows of herbs, nuts, berries, spices, and more that you can help yourself to, or pre-made bags too. This time around, I picked out a little Four Sigmatic organic matcha latte mix and one of the new Bragg apple cider vinegar drinks (just organic apple cider vinegar and lime juice). It was soooo good and a great way to balance blood sugar with a meal. I'll be back for sure! The only reason why I knocked off a star is that you want the employees to match the mission of the shop. There was someone smoking a cig in the back parking lot, a girl at the counter that was slumped over on her phone, and a man walking around not smiling. This is already a dimly-lit, slightly-worn shop, so you want the people inside to be the ones breathing life into it by sharing about new products, health benefits of existing ones, and answering any questions. They didn't seem approachable, which I think is important for a store with so many different products that people will probably have questions about. Thanks for bringing and keeping these healthy options in the neighborhood!

Her soaps and skincare items are the best I've found among high end brands. The healing salve she makes is absolutely incredible. I can't say enough good things here. Just remember to Buy local!

North Star has been in business for as long as I can remember - or at least as long as I've been…read moredriving past it on my way to Fishers :-) While I don't really have any specific health needs that require supplements and such, I think this would be the place to go for counsel if I did. The staff appear to be uber-knowledgeable, heavily credentialed and the store is organized very, very well with just about any supplement need one might have. But....I go here on occasion for essential oils, the Reed's ginger candies (in a big desktop-worthy yellow tin, Zuke's chew treats for my poodlums and the odd item that catches my eye - like the two crystals I recently purchased. I do like the variety of handmade soaps and other personal care goodies here, but this is a well-known and documented weakness of mine. I believe North Star offers personal health consultations and classes, though not all this information is currently available on their Web site. Another plus in this store is the availability of numerous informational pamphlets and flyers around the store, most of them placed next to the products they advocate or support.

As I was coming home from Ft Wayne I was detoured through Pendleton…read more I remembered I had an Italian place marked on my bucket list on Yelp- WOW- honestly this was the best Italian meal I have had in Indy! It is worth the drive!!! All pastas are made fresh. The staff was so friendly and accommodating! They have a piano player as well...what a treat! I sat in the back corner and took it all in! The food was outstanding, I ordered Linguine Frutti di Mare- homemade linguine ( delicious) served with clams, mussels, scallops? Shrimp, cherry tomatoes, evoo, garluc, parsley cooked in a white wine sauce!!! As you can see I absolutely hated it... lol! I has an expression and lava cake for dessert. The lava cake was a little overcooked- that is the only complaint.... Other than the lady sitting across the table from me that talked loud enough for the whole restaurant to hear her conversation. I wish people would be more observant and realize they don't have to talk so loud when they're sitting at their table it made it difficult to hear the piano player and it went from a relaxing stress free feeling to an annoyance. I was so happy when her food arrived. This place is very special. It's very small. I got in because it was very early in the evening. I believe their doors open at 5 o'clock. I would highly recommend reservations, but if you have a special occasion that you're celebrating, and it appeared that several people did this is worth the drive!
