I cannot put into words how fun and energetic the environment of the school is. There are many fun pep rallies and activities that keep the school learning and having fun while they're doing it. Two of my children went all the way through and finished the Middle School Program and they left Five Oaks more than prepared for high school! FOA students are smart, well rounded, compassionate, confident and independent. FOA is truly a gem in the Upstate. The staff are some of the most wonderful people you will ever meet, and they work hard to make Five Oaks amazing. Sure, there were a few hiccups along the way, because schools and people aren't perfect. But, overall, I don't think we I could have found a better school for our kids.

She failed as an admin, she failed as an adult in school, she failed as a protector, and she failed at being a kind person. Looking on greatschools you will find multiple other reports that bullying is a major problem at this school and the teachers turn a blind eye to bullying both physical bullying and verbal bullying because it's up to the admins to administer punishment, and you know what person shouldn't be at the head of this? I'll tell you, an admin who doesn't care about the bullying. They opened their doors back in 1980 as a community outreach but have evolved from there into a dedicated preschool experience. Toddlers to Pre K are accepted. Classes are from 9AM-1PM Monday through Thursday. Yes they do charge tution, but the fees are reasonable and they do give sibling discounts. Tuition scholarships are available for qualifying parents. Days are spent singing, laughing, playing, and doing arts and crafts. A great environment to teach your kids how to socialize with other kids. The older children get to go on field trips to places like the post office and the fire station. Safe, clean and a wonderful, caring staff. Great job!!!
