The price increased doubled. Call to get a refund because services were never rendered they said no because I accessed the site while I signed up. So I'm out my money and have to pay another 1500+ to take the course I paid for already. All because their price increase. They tried to tell there is a TOS yet there is no TOS anywhere on their site. Don't recommend.

They then took those chunks and organized them in a way that it all makes sense in my head whereas before I could understand any individual concept but felt like I was swimming in a sea of concepts that didn't add up to anything. Also, my instructor John was super nice, well spoken, easy to understand and seemed to genuinely care that all of us learned the content. He's someone I hope to keep in touch with longer term.

As others have said, you don't get a private room but you don't really notice anyone around you as people are quiet during their massages. Only drawback was the clocks in each work station, they were ticking loudly which was distracting at times. Hours available on Friday/Saturday only, can only call the week of to schedule appointment. I went at 6:00 and beat the rush, as there were a lot of people in the reception area as I was on my way out.

Another resident's daughter and I (sister of a long-term resident) were talking about Linda P. (Lynn) yesterday! Lynn does her job with her whole being! She is so hard working, always willing to problem-solve. But the most important thing we talked about was her creative way of connecting with ALL the residents to help them with their unique challenges! My sister has hallucinations that at times frighten her, and I have a hard time knowing how to help. Lynn creatively redirects her fears and worries and just makes everything better!!! I keep hoping that she will adopt me!!! Linda P. (nickname: Lynn) has been such an amazing blessing to my sister and our family. The other resident's daughter shared a similar sentiment!!! I thank God for Brushy Creek and especially for people who do this type job with their whole hearts!!!

Slight concern regarding safety and how an injury was handled at this facility…read more I witnessed an interaction between Brushy Creek staff and a nursing student who was at the facility for clinicals. While walking down the sidewalk near one of the cottages, the student slipped and fell due to mud and standing water on the sidewalk. She landed directly on her hip and continued to experience pain for the remainder of her clinical shift. When she brought her concern to the HR office, she was told that she "shouldn't step in a puddle." There did not appear to be an effort to document the incident or provide her with information about an incident-report process. My concern is not only for the student, but for the residents as well. A slippery, muddy sidewalk presents a serious fall risk, especially for elderly residents who could potentially suffer a serious injury from a fall. I encouraged the student to seek medical attention and document what happened. I was honestly surprised that there did not seem to be more concern or compassion shown toward someone who was injured while simply walking on the facility's property for a clinical rotation. At the very least, I would hope a healthcare facility would take a fall seriously, ensure the area is safe, and have a clear process for documenting injuries.
