Absolutely the worst company, Jeff will and Rylee. Are the most sly people you could ever meet. They don't do good jobs. They expect thier employees to cover thier asses whenever shit goes wrong. And the owner Jeff. Has no clue what is going on in his own company. As a former employee. The only reason Gabris is still in business is because the don't pay at all. And they shred timesheets. Which I have watched them do. And forget trying to advance in the company. Will and Rylee would rather lie thier asses of and make of excuses and experiences up to make the employee seem like the problem when in reality the managers and owners do t know how to anything for themselves. read more

Paul took great care of our irrigation issues on a new-to-us home. He figured out why a zone wasn't watering (had been cut in crawlspace). He communicated well before doing anything, and was honest about critical issues versus minor issues. We look forward to working with him again. read more

We chose Gabris to do a very large landscaping job and our regular lawn maintenance. Their prices are extremely reasonable. Their landscaping crew were on time, detailed, knowledgeable and clearly took pride in their work (a novelty these days)! We had a very large area to be cleaned up and seeded....quarries have less rocks than our yard! Despite the 90 degree heat for several days they were diligent in completing the estimated job. I will recommend Gabris to anyone who asks who I know for landscaping/lawn maintenance. read more

I ended up calling Elite Outdoor Innovations in Springfield, MO and they were fantastic! Professional, punctual and courteous. They started up my irrigation system in the spring and informed me that backlflow testing was unnecessary since I'm (1) on well and (2) outside the city limits. Overall, they did not follow through with a quality job. The estimate was done by the owner, who did not listen to what we wanted, and did not write an estimate for the correct area (even though we stated we wanted sod removed from the area of a building plus a two foot buffer area around it). The work was done by young guys who did not have very much experience, and did poor quality work. The company is not professional and attacks anyone who will not accept their bad service. Lance in the office was nice and apologized for the job being done wrong, but did not practice good customer service and refused to help resolve the issue by coming back out or rescheduling a follow-up. The job description was not clearly communicated to the job lead regarding the square footage we asked for, and the finished quality was sloppy and uneven enough to break an ankle walking across. When we attempted to finish our project we realized how much sod was still left and that an area was completely untouched, I called and requested a follow up to try and get it corrected and was given an appointment time, I was very impressed with how understanding and willing to work with me Lance was. Lance called me a few days later saying there were scheduling conflicts that made my appointment a few days later impossible, but he also couldn't reschedule me for another time at all because they have new jobs to start. It seemed like a complete 180 turn in customer service from him and job integrity on the company's part. Lance apologized for not being able to come out and fix the issue without offering some kind of rescheduling plan, and recommended I find another company to come out instead because their new jobs were priority over fixing something they had already done poorly. Look for a landscaping company with professional trained employees who will do a job right the first time. Now that I have put my experience out there online the company has responded with rudeness and tried to say that I'm insane for expecting a professional quality job when I hired 'professionals' to do it. I called other landscapers and they all said leveling is part of sod removal, so this job was not done to a professional standard. If they had done a low quality job, and been willing to come fix it, I would have been happy. But the terrible attitude and the owner blaming me for not having them do the gravel work is just slimy business. Take responsibility for your guys not being trained, and apologize instead of attacking an unhappy customer. read more

We were supposed to get a quote for terracing our sloped backyard. The appointment was scheduled for 5:30 pm. I told the person when I made the appointment that we do not get off work until 6:00 PM and that it would be 6:15-6:20 before we would get there. He told us this was fine because they schedule the appointment for a two hour block and they could do some measuring while they wait and he would put a note on the appointment. I got a phone call at 5:44 PM from Will letting me know he was on the way to the appointment. I told him that it would be 6:15-6:20 before we got there because we had to pick up our daughter from daycare and that I told the person this when scheduling the appointment. He said they would go ahead and take a look around and wait. When we arrived at 6:20, they had left. I called Will back and asked why they didn't wait and he said they waited too long and didn't want to wait any longer. I asked if they would come back and he said no. He then said it would probably cost too much to do the work and that I wouldn't be willing to pay it. No real quote given when they didn't even know what we want. How do you know, Will, that it was more than I was willing to spend??? Obviously, this is too big of a job for this company and they left because they don't want my business. The rudeness of Will was absolutely uncalled for and unprofessional. Man up if you're not up to the job. There is no need to talk to a customer like that. Word of mouth spreads. Don't bother with these jerks. read more

These guys did great work on all the stuff I needed. They mowed my lawn and showed up regularly. My lawn was so much better from their treatments that the neighbor's signed up for service too. The compliments I get on my yard are quite enjoyable. They even did an extension on my back patio with pavers several years ago which is still looking good. Definitely had nothing but great experiences. It's sad Jeff had to ask me to write this review because he said only his problem customers were using Yelp. This is how the owner of this company responds to an e-mail that simply expressed disappointment that his employee failed to show up for an appointment or even have the courtesy to call and a follow up e-mail that suggested that a simple apology for the inconvenience he caused would have been appropriate after his first response was curt and unapologetic: "Michael, who failed to make it to work yesterday, would have been the one to apologize to you. Since you cancelled services already, what does it really matter? Tell me, since my MBA apparently didn't teach me, you asshole. You are blacklisted from my services after those two ridiculous messages. Thank you." read more

Have used this company for several years with minimal complaints. All issues seemed to be addressed adequately. However, when a mower cracked a window with a rock (an accident, of course...nonetheless, responsible party), they ultimately refused liability. This was after 6 months and their window company sending in an estimate, for which they found unacceptable, and their offer of paying a portion, then asking me to prove it was caused by their mowers. Not reputable in my opinion, and felt very undervalued as a customer. read more

Overall, the work was good. But they broke one of my sprinkler heads when adjusting the spray and refused to cover the replacement. They wanted to charge $40 to replace it when it functioned fine before they adjusted it. I won't be using them again since they wouldn't accept responsibility for the damage. read more
