I contacted Danny to paint my house before I moved in. He had the entire summer to do the job as I…read morewas having other work done as well. I was out of town the whole summer so we were communicating via texts and phone with pictures. Because the time frame was not rushed he was able to come and go as he needed. His job for me included all the walls and trim including the doors. I had him paint the kitchen cabinets (from stained wood). Then outside he did both front and back doors, the trim around the front door that matched the eaves, and finally the garage door and frame to match the eaves. I selected all the paint colors except for the outside to match the eaves as I didn't know the color and he said he could match it. When he completed the job he sent me some photos and all seemed good so I payed him the balance owed with the understanding that he would touch up anything I saw when I arrived. The first thing I saw when I drove up was the frame color that was supposed to match the eaves was all wrong! My eaves. Are a light putty color and the trim he painted is a golden beige. Not even close! One is very warm tone and the other is a very cool tone. So I made my list of touch up's and redos including drips, smudges, and pealing paint on many of the doors and the outside trim color. I called him and he blew me off saying the trim color was my fault because I didn't give him a paint color! He knew I couldn't do that because I didn't know it! Any good painter knows how to match a color so that it is close. I have since tried to call him a couple of times and he has ghosted me totally. This is extremely unprofessional! I realize some of this could have been avoided if I had been here to watch over him so if you don't mind a painter that doesn't stand behind his work then Danny is ok.

This is necessary for the new paint to have good adhesion and last for a long time. He started and finished on time. Many years ago, Danny painted a dark room with stained wood paneling and removed the popcorn ceiling for us. The surface preparation including calking, cleaning the paneling and priming created a finish that still looks new after all these years. Danny is a seasoned professional and we would not want anyone else for our painting projects.
