I called Gabriel to replace three awnings of the four we had. They were aged and weathered and needed to be replaced. So nice on the phone and he came over the next day. He measured everything and gave us a price. We immediately liked him and okayed him to go ahead. He came over in a few days with help and removed them to take back to the shop for the frame painting and to make the new Sumbrella covers . He called us back in a few days and scheduled the time to come over. So quick, everything was moving so quick. And then they were installed. We love them. My 5, 13 year old awnings were torn & tattered and need to be replaced. I contacted 6 companies for an estimate. All of the companies came out as scheduled, but I felt an immediate attachment to Gabriel. I felt very comfortable with him. He explained everything that he does and set an expectation. His quote was not the least but by far not the most expensive (that honor went to the company I used to do the recover last time). Again, I am going to do a review on on awesome company owned by an awesome gentleman. As I have said before in the couple reviews that I have posted. I do not like reviewing anyone, specially if I do not have anything good to say. When I have something great to say about a company I will go out of my way to let people know as is the case with Gabriel's awnings and more. Gabriel, installed a patio cover on our restaurant Lulu's in Van nuys 25 years ago. This awning was finally taken down, not because it was deteriorating, but because we wanted a different color. I called gabriel and to my delight he is still in business after all this years. He responded to my call right away, came out the next day to measure and gave me a fantastic estimate. I did not haggle with him on price because I know the quality of workmanship that he provides. He told me that in 2 weeks he was going to start the work and, true to his word he was there. I have a 7 year old Sunsetter retractable awning every patio door to cut the sun intrusion into my house. This past winter it fell victim to a combination of age and the Santa Ana winds - it wound up in shreds. I contacted Sunsetter, they retrieved my original order and indicated they could provide a replacement fabric kit. Then the pandemic hit. They shut their factory for a period, then resumed operation on a reduced scale. Anyway six months later I got my fabric kit. I contacted several possible installers before I got to Gabriel and received bids that varied by hundreds of dollars. Eventually I got to Gabriel and we decided he could and would do the job. He and his helper arrived early on the scheduled day, and on less than an hour the job was completed. They did an excellent professional job, exactly as they had promised.
