I installed a 10 foot vinyl patio in my backyard in 2016. I wanted to enclose it with adjustable roll down awnings/shades. I contacted Awning Masters and spoke with the owner Dwayne Reece. He was polite, professional and attentive to all of my needs. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and concerns. He later came out and measured the area and gave me a great quote for the job. Dwayne was able to show me examples of the materials he carried in stock. I also had him install motors to lift and lower the shades. When he arrived to install the shades, he had all materials and hardware needed for the job. He and his crew were able to install the shades in a short period of time. When they finished the installation, the crew cleaned the area of any debris and all trash. I am very pleased with the quality of work and professionalism of Dwayne and his team. I am also pleased with the quality of the materials he used for the job. I have referred Dwayne to several people who saw my shades and wanted to have them installed at their houses. They were very pleased with his work. I was so looking forward to working with Awning Masters, but unfortunately decided to go with someone else. Communication was lacking, they were a no show for my consult, and when I was willing to reschedule, there was no follow through. When I had my mother call back (because customers have to take full accountability these days), we told the owner we'd go with someone else, and the response was, "Okay". Again, that's fine, but I will never do business with a company that fails to communicate. After all, my time is just as precious to me as yours. Dwayne of Awning Masters did not show up or call for our first appointment. I gave him a second chance and for his second appointment with us he was 45 minutes late. He needed to come out again and this third time he was one hour and 20 minutes late. When I confronted him about his lack of timeliness he went into a long and loud tirade.
