All started with a small handyman job installing an HDTV antenna and rotor, progressed into quoting at least 10 jobs. Pricing was excellent and transparent; work was promptly completed with high-quality workmanship and material, i.e. used structural screws instead of nails. When looking at a project, he often saved us money by suggesting and repurposing materials versus complete removal and waste. Also found that our carpet covered steps had unfinished oak treads - sanded, stained and re-trimmed with matching handrail work - nice! We now have a new very nice brick and stone paved patio, a stand-alone pavilion, re-designed all-season room, new LVP flooring in lower level of house, new ramp for our large shed (which needed work to correct issues from previous contractor) new/repaired steel front stair railings, plumbing work, etcetera. The owner of this business is a very busy, all-work oriented individual who concentrates on his work. Difficult to find a business with such dedication to each job and the particular, often customized details. Wife and I planning more work in near future, will certainly hire again. The execution was excellent. Every transition and curve was handled with care, and the final result looks phenomenal. We are a military family, and supporting veteran owned businesses matters to us. Dan is a veteran, and that integrity, discipline, and pride in workmanship showed throughout the entire project. What stood out most was the preparation and follow through. A lot of research went into finding the right flooring for our family, not just something that looked good. We were very intentional about choosing a healthy option for young kids, and Dan took the time to find the perfect fit. We landed on TrueTouch Evolv Flooring, which is 100% waterproof, made with real wood and natural oils, allergy free, fully recyclable, and free from synthetic materials. It checked every box for health, durability, and design. His team worked diligently to get everything done, even over the holidays. Communication throughout the process was clear and responsive, timelines were respected, and expectations were managed well. This was not a simple job, and it was handled with professionalism from start to finish. Highly recommend Dan the Carpet for anyone who wants quality work done the right way.

He took my ideas, laid out multiple options, and provided me with 3 different quotes on the type of work I wanted to have done. I explained I had 2 other companies coming out and I would have an answer by the end of the week. He thanked me for the opportunity. The other 2 companies I had scheduled to come out didn't even bother to show for up our appointment. I called my sales consultant, David, on Sunday letting him know that I wanted to move forward with the project. I explained that I had a very busy week coming up and he offered to meet me that day, which was his day off, so that I didn't have to miss any time at work. The project was installed on time and I couldn't be happier with the quality of work! Buschurs Home Improvement Center went above and beyond my expectation for what this project could be.

The Friedman team did a truly *amazing* job!…read more Jason (the owner)'s initial visit to our home lasted more than an hour. He asked very detailed questions to ensure he understood exactly what we wanted to accomplish. The estimate was quickly produced, and was exceeding thorough and clear, spanning a full 2-pages, itemizing all that the job entailed. When there were possible ways of saving money, he offered them. He also suggested a number of clever workarounds we had not considered. The estimated amount was a bit less than the other two quotes we received. In addition, it included items others had not thought to suggest. Other companies said they could begin in 4-6 months. Jason said he would begin in 2-3 weeks and complete the sizable renovation within 3 weeks. Once we agreed to move forward, everything was wrapped up within the timeline he estimated (from my experience, a rare feat!). All members of his crew were friendly, diligent, and highly competent. They were efficient on site, demonstrated great skill, were cautious not to damage anything, and performed a through cleanup, leaving nothing behind. The final product far exceeded our expectations! We are very grateful for Jason's Team and we definitely plan to use them for future projects. Thanks so much! Jon & Courtney

I called to talk to Jason about what can be done. I was basically told we've had a lot of saturation this year and any concerns should have been voiced at the time. They were voiced to the man who was doing the work. not all of the work that was in my written estimate was completed either as the contractor who was here said it wouldn't be necessary. An existing run was completely removed and not tapped into. I was told in the end, the month of work was a loss to them. Probably why they don' want to help me now. I hope…read morethe pictures speak for themselves, but these were my experience watching Sam work on converting my tandem garage and splitting it into a bedroom: Assessment. Sam provided us an estimate for this project without pressuring the customer to sign the deal. Instead, he focused on explaining all the steps involved in the project. He has a very analytical approach to his work and outlines how he will meet and exceed code requirements. Quote/Estimate for cost. He is reasonable with his pricing and will break the job into parts such that the customer does not have to pay upfront for the whole project. He would complete a block of the job and then collect payment after that block is completed. Quality of materials used/work performed. He is very particular about the quality of materials he uses and he informs his customer about the advantages/disadvantages But ultimately will let the customer decide. His work is almost artistic since he is very exact about how he builds things. Overall: I had the best experience a person could have with a contractor - especially when they single handily performed all the serviced required for the job. He built everything to code and exceeded requirements in some areas. (e.g., electrical, plumbing, Drywall, Concrete). Once he begins work he maintains momentum, keeps the work area clean, and has been a person that's reliable with excellent work ethics. I wish the industry worked as he does.
