It was a little hard to find but her daughter guided me there on the phone while I was lost. Initially it was a little off putting as I thought they might not be as sanitary because the wax was dark colored. I later found out she doesn't use wax but sugar. This process reduces irritation to the skin & is less painful. In my 35 years of life, I have only been waxed once when I was 19 for a pool party. I vowed never to do it again because of all the pain & skin irritation I experienced afterwards. There was minimal pain & absolutely no skin issues after this procedures. We entered a space that was clean and calming. Norma's demeanor was professional, welcoming, and very soothing. My mother explained we were trying to do a mother-daughter day. Norma smiled and said it would be her pleasure to care for us both. We had side-by-side rooms. After a quick assessment, she recommended receiving the Signature Facial for both of us. She juggled us both without showing a sense of being juggled. I felt very calm and cared for but most importantly, I felt that Norma was taking the most excellent care of my Mother. In 2021 I did have lipo and a tummy tuck so I have had well over 10+ lymphatic drainage massages and what I received at this clinic was not it, the masseuse barely touched me. I mean ,she was literally grazing me with her finger tips like she was afraid to touch me . It was so awkward and off putting. She continued grazing me with the tips of her fingers barely touching until the end of the session and then told me to drink water ... for what . The Pinterest photo was what I wanted and I told her "just straighten and bump the ends a little" and she said okay...she proceeds to then fully curl my hair even though she knew what I wanted. The curls were pretty but not what I wanted/asked for. I went to check out and she was standing by the whole time watching and when the receptionist was telling me the price I guess she gave me a discount the first time getting my hair done and the stylist said "don't expect this price next time. It's usually way more expensive" with a bit of an attitude. I will go back for my eyebrows but not getting my hair done here again. Just upset I didn't get what I asked.
