It took over three weeks to process a simple change request for our homeowner's policy, and even after they finally processed it, they haven't been able to answer my basic questions. Additionally, when I followed up to get policy documents for the bank, Cross has not responded, and I'm really unsure what to do next. Hopefully, we can get a response before the bank becomes upset over not receiving the necessary insurance documents. I'm seriously considering switching insurance agents. If you want a company that can't pick up the phone or answer questions, this is the one for you!

I needed car insurance and to get my home insurance started for my new home. My Dad connected me with Candice and we talked like friends would. She was able to get me all set up over the phone and I was able to sign documents online and she mailed me ones to sign with a readdressed envelope to send it back. So efficient. Recently I just had an issue and had to close my checking account. I went online to try and change the account where my monthly payment was being debited and I thought I had done it correctly. Candice reached out to me mentioning my payment was showing late and that the account on file was closed. I quickly responded saying that I had changed the account but that it must not have worked. I gave her all my new account info and helped me get it set up. Today I received a letter from Farmers that I had a return check fee of $25 for messing up. I emailed Candice to see if that might be waived because I didn't intentionally mean for my account to be wrong. She responded quickly saying she had already contacted them and had it waived. I am just beyond happy with Candice. She treats me like family and takes care of me. I have never received such personal customer service. In 2023 I was forced to make a claim on my home owners policy (through Pemco) As a result, price of my premiums DOUBLED! As a single homeowner, this is a strain on my budget. When reviewing my policy with Joe Hammon, I explained that I was very disappointed with them doubling my premiums. I could see them raising it even as much as 50%, but 100% price increase is too much! Joe Made me feel belittled by the fact that I had to make a claim. And when I told him that he needed to get to work and see what he could do since he was a broker, he got super butt hurt about - it acting a victim because I was asking him to do his job.
