Not your typical food truck stop, talk about fresh, quality ingredients, and made to order!!…read moreToasties is such a great addition to the Lexington food scene. Owner Martina is so friendly and really cares about the ingredients she uses, whilst being creative, and always nailing her flavors. My favorite was the Goud Grilled Cheese! Would I ever think to put apple slices on a grilled cheese?? No. Was it amazing. YES!! The bread is locally sourced and the whole sandwich melts in your mouth! I'm also a big fan of the drunken shroomy and can't wait to get back and try them all! Their Açaí bowls are not only aesthetically pleasing and perfect for summer, BUT also taste amazing! Be sure to check their Instagram to see where they will be stationed next to get your grilled cheese, avocado toast, or smoothie bowl fix (or all the above??)!!! 10/10 recommend this truck, keep shopping small!!

We weren't sure what to order and the owners (who were absolutely amazing, by the way! So very pleasant!) patiently explained the different options for us. We ended up with the Smoothie Bowl and was it ever a wonderful choice! It was absolutely delicious! And, it was filled (and I mean FILLED! No scrimping here of fresh food items!) with a bounty of ingredients, especially fresh fruit including strawberries and blueberries, two of my favorites! It was so refreshing on a hot summer day and also, was very easy to eat while walking around, looking at all the beauty that is found at the KY Horse Park. My family would definitely order from them again! It was an extremely positive first impression of Toasties and we will certainly be looking for them at other events.

The food tasted incredibly fresh and homemade -- flavorful shawarma, creamy hummus, warm pita, and authentic Mediterranean flavors that don't feel watered down or commercialized. The owner was genuinely kind and welcoming, and you can tell he cares about the food and the people coming in. It's a small, cozy spot, but the flavor is huge. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and everything tastes made with care. If you love authentic Mediterranean food, this place is absolutely worth trying. Lexington has some great local restaurants, and Zaki definitely deserves more attention.  I had the chicken shawarma and it didn't disappoint! The hummus was so fresh. My husband had the lamb shawarma.

We placed our order and it was prepared very quickly. We loved the lamb wraps. The seasoned fries were delicious. The baklava, OMG! It is crispy, flaky and moist. All at the same time. It's not overly sweet which makes it an absolute favorite for me. The next time we are in the city, we will be back!!!

Most of the seating is indoor inside of the Micher's Greenhouse there, so even if the weather hadn't of been nice it would have been a great time. There was great live music as well. We decided to get a bavarian pretzel to split, as well as her getting their raspberry crepe while I decided on their lemon curd crepe. Everything we had to eat was fantastic. Everything else I saw on the menu sounded delicious. Service was also quick and fantastic. The kitchen was pumping out food quick and the wait staff had it out to us as soon as possible. I'll always recommend this as a nice date spot for others.

Weird experience. The food is fine, healthy-ish, but nothing to write home about. My husband's…read morenoodle salad was my favorite, followed by my cauliflower salad. I thought the beet & giant bean salad was meh, the pieces are cut huge so you really get about 4 beans and 6 pieces of beet. The grilled cheese is actually half a grilled cheese, which didn't have much cheese on it, and tasted faintly of horseradish. I couldn't finish mine. The hummus was good, you just don't get very much. Focaccia was alright, would have been better warmed. We ordered a Bavarian pretzel plate, which also came out room temp. I think that's a first for me at a restaurant. The focaccia, ok, it's for dipping and that's easier when it isn't so soft. But the pretzel? Like did it just get pulled out of a bag and tossed on the plate? I can't speak to the cheese because I tried it with mustard. There was so much horseradish in the mustard it almost blew my head off. I'm sure some people love that but I'm not one of them. Speaking of blowing up, a woman on a laptop had a kid that was goofing off around her table. He laid down on the bench and started sweeping rocks at some old lady. The old lady turns around to tell him to stop and the mom lost it on her. Like screeching. Idk, I get it to a certain extent but if you're trusting the world to watch your kid while you work, don't be surprised when the world asks your kid to not throw rocks at them. Then when I bussed my table (which I thought was what we are supposed to do here), there's a single bus tub to the right of the ordering window. To get there, I cut across the line sideways and not one but several people are giving side-eye because they had to *gasp* make way for someone to take their plates up. That's also where the bathroom is, so good luck if you sit to the left of the line, because apparently the other patrons expect you to walk through a maze of tables behind the line to get to the far side of the cafe. Summary: the food is fine, but not worth the rest of the experience. It's surprisingly unorganized and while it is beautiful, you can get better health food at the co-op or Whole Foods. The clientele on a Thursday morning was so uppity I would never come back.

For this visit the experience was quite different. There website lists, "Wild caught salmon." My husband and I were super excited about ordering the Thai salads to save in our cooler for later in the day. We ordered some fruit and quiche for breakfast. We took everything to go as we were trying to make time on the road. The quiche was super greasy. The fruit was the best item as it was fresh and very delicious. When we stopped later in the day for lunch we were very disappointed to see that we were not given wild caught salmon. We know what it looks like and what it takes like. The salmon was farm raised. How do we know for sure? We have an Alaska area code. We have snatched them right out of the Kenai River. Farm raised is night and day from Wild caught salmon. If you know then ya know. There is a big price difference, and we are willing to pay for it. It's very misleading to pass off farm raised as wild. Due to this we will NOT be going out of our way to return.
