And how did some other tables set up that might be for wargaming or maybe magic as well as a collection of different board games and other table top hobbies. They had a nice selection of paints and other supplies for painting miniatures. I even was able to pick up these tiny little cutting masks for working with little bits of bobs, which was all very reasonable price. They also had 3D printers there and I think if you needed to have a miniature printed you have to email a specific person at the shop and they can do that for you. All in all, this is a pretty nice local friendly game store and definitely worth patronizing over the corporate behemoths. Additionally, it doesn't hurt. There's not many in the area and this is probably the closest one for a long drive. So if you have any game store needs you should definitely check this place out.

They place is old, run down, neglected and smells like a dumpster. I went in there last summer to look around and the owner lady was clipping her finger nails at the counter...YUK!! The place is small, over crowded and over all very dingy and dirty. I felt like I needed a bath when I left. They didn't have much in the way of 'hobbies', it was just old, dirty used R/C cars, a few helicopters and 2 paint racks. I don't understand how they are still able to keep the doors open. As for the parking lot, watch out for the pot holes. I agree with the other 2 reviews, go to The Hobby Shop on 34, it's just a few minutes down the highway but well worth the trip. Same clutch problem when I got home after 2 min run. Took it back he was so nasty, telling me that I don't no what I am talking about. He almost kick me out of his store. Said he is the owner and no customer going to tell him how to fix cars. Said he is the best around. Unfortunately, the condition of those back-issue books rarely reflects the significantly higher prices they charge. As an avid comic collector and seller myself, I'm well aware of market value. And their prices are well -above- market value. Keep in mind, this is only regarding their back issues. The new release section had standard new-release pricing and was well stocked. Blah, blah blah I could reiterate what everyone else has said. Good and bad. But it's necessary that we preserve as many places that still cater to specialty interests and hobbies. It's more museum with the option to sell moreover than a hobby shop at this point. The two times I've been in there the individual running the shop was speaking with customers and was very knowledgeable. Yet a bit brusque. Be respectful. And understanding. However... I, on my latest visit was prepared to make a purchase. You see I was home because work was slow. I was perusing Amazon etc looking for a project to keep me occupied while I have some downtime. By the way it's January and just got really, really cold. I want to support as many brick and mortar businesses as possible. So I button up and make the trip downtown. So I get there and peruse the inventory. After a while I find something that will keep me busy for a few weeks. Here's the rub. I get to the counter and the owner( I assume) starts looking up the price. It's got a price on the side of the box but he claims it's the wrong price. I stand there patiently whilst he looks it up on his iPad. And wait. Now he's tagging on 20 bucks to the existing price on the box. The prices on most of these items are pretty high I noticed. All good. But don't try to squeeze me at the register and tell me someone put the wrong price on the box. If you'd have honored the price right or wrong I'd be sitting here working on the model. Instead I'm writing this review.
