Very experienced, friendly and helpful staff. Not out to just sell you anything and everything in the store. They are very helpful in getting you started on the hobby of your choice whether it is RC cars, planes or helicopters and much more. Easy to get to, on Rt 34 off Rt 9 South. Easy to park as they have their own parking lot. It appears that they also do repair work on premises. Looks like many regulars frequent the store based on my observation. Some notes: 1) Place is a little small, but they can order almost anything. 2) This hobby shop is pretty much geared for RC stuff, though they do have a *little* stuff dedicated to other things (rocket section isn't too bad). If you're into trains, models, or rockets, you're probably better off at The Hobby Shop further down in Aberdeen (also on Rt 34). Especially for trains. read more

Well let me start off with saying great shop it is a true r/c shop these are a rare breed to find anymore. The owner is great and knows her stuff it is good to see a lady into r/c i think more should join up. The shop is so packed you can't fit anything else in there LOL yes it might not look like much on the outside but once inside it is like POW most selection of r/c i have seen in years.. What is nice is they carry many styles of r/c from electric to gas to nitro and all types of scale sizes from cars to plains to drones to trucks and boats along with many companies. Which not many shops do as they stick to one to make them money and that's that. Here you have choices which no other shops give and that makes the difference in my opinion as to me it seems more about getting you into the right hobby than making the buck. The guy who works on everything is full of information and if he don't know he finds out for you the right information which alot of people don't want to be bothered anymore. They fix any type of r/c they support what they sell and even stuff they don't, again rare to find in a shop anymore. I been doing this hobby for 47 years and i can say this is one of the best r/c real r/c shops out there still in business and the tech they have is one of the best i seen out there in a long time how he diagnoses the problems and repairs them and he is honest that is key. Folks do yourself a favor before you patronize this hobby shop. Serial number your car/truck and receiver. I am in a dispute with these folks and am going legal over it. Also get a receipt when you drop your equipment off that shows serial number of receiver and car/truck. They tried to give me back one that was not mine. Only loser in this one is my son who is without an RC truck because of them. I didn't serial number anything nor did I get a receipt for proof that I dropped it off. read more

I brought an RC Car for my son back in December for Christmas. when I gave it to him the reverse never worked. I took it back a week later to get it fixed and it took them 1 Month and when i finally got it back. it didnt work but 1 time. Then i took it back in Febuary to get it fixed again and to replace some parts and and 4 months later i still dont have the car....Im calling and calling and no response. Dont recommend at all for customer service... read more

This is the best advice you will ever get and that's keep going. This place is a dump outside, inside and it's ran by people who know nothing about customer service. You will know what I mean the second you pull into their lot. I recently visited this place and purchased two electric cars from them. Unfortunately one of the cars was defective out of the box. I went back the next day to return it and that's when I found out their customer service was as horrible as their appearance. I showed the guy what the problem is, he agreed there was a problem with the mother board of the car. I kindly asked for my money back as I didn't want a broken car..makes sense rite? Come to find out the hard way that all sales are final and they have a zero Return policy. What they were going to do was order a new mother board through the company for my car that would take a week to get. So I gotta basically wait a week for the part to fix my brand new car that I didn't even play with yet. I took my car to the next closest hobby shop which was jojos racing collectables in south river. They had everything I needed to fix my car, it cost me $30 for the part. On top of that I bought two more of them and fixed my broken one. Problem solved. Lesson learned: stay away from this dump spot. I learned the hard way. Spend your hard earned money at a shop that appreciates your business and you as a customer. These people won't even acknowledge you even walked in the door or even bother to greet you.
