She ended up doing the flowers for both our wedding and rehearsal dinner and exceeded all possible expectations. The flowers were absolutely spectacular and we are still receiving comments from guests on how stunning they were. Gabrielle was also an absolutely JOY to work with!! She was extremely patient, gave great suggestions and was always there to answer any questions we may have had. When I walked into both my rehearsal dinner and wedding I actually gasped with how beautiful everything looked. I cannot say enough amazing things about Gabrielle and her work. I found her through my fantastic wedding planner, Tammy Golson, and right from the beginning, Gabrielle was excited and creative. She flew in from NYC to do my NYE wedding on Boston Harbor and I couldn't be more impressed by her flowers and decor. We used candles and and beautiful winter flowers to create a romantic, intimate ambiance. She really blew me away by how she transformed the ceremony and reception rooms and stayed within our budget. We had talked before the event about what my vision was but I really let her take the reigns on it and man am I glad I did - she blew me and everyone away with what she created. Working with Gabrielle was fantastic. We were working with a limited budget, and we were very impressed with the end results. The individual arrangements (centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres) as well as a ceremony piece were all absolutely gorgeous. We received many compliments about the flowers used for the ceremony and reception. Leading up to the wedding, Gabrielle was very easy to work with. She was very responsive to any questions/concerns via email, and was always very professional. We found G! Designs through our wedding venue and could not have been happier. In fact we heard so many amazing things about Gabrielle that it was an easy decision to choose her. Gabrielle helped us create such gorgeous decor for our wedding day. The flowers she used were exactly what we had envisioned and much more. Our guests were astonished by how beautiful the flower arrangements were and called us weeks later to ask about them. Essentially we didn't have specifics in mind in terms of what we wanted for flowers, just the color scheme for the entire wedding day and a rustic feel. I live in London but got married in NYC this past June. Planning a wedding from the other side of the world was no mean feat, but I have to say that organising the flowers with Gabrielle was one of the best parts of the whole process. She listens and took on board all of my ideas with a completelty professional apparoach. She really knows her stuff. Gabrielle was one of my favorite vendors for my wedding. She was professional and responsive from the start. She clearly understood the value of timely email replies. Compared to the other florists I contacted, Gabrielle was also the most understanding of my budgetary constraints. She worked with me to find a look and package that fit my aesthetic and budget. It seemed that some of the other florist vendors just gave me a figure, and it was not apparent how some of the charges were broken down. Gabrielle was transparent with her fees. Above all, the flowers at my wedding were GORGEOUS. They were the flowers I dreamed about. I spent so much time admiring them during all of the activity and hubbub of the wedding day. I absolutely loved Gabrielle Aronas of G! Designs. She is brilliant!!! We looked all over NYC for a florist with a sophisticated, modern style because we think most wedding flower arrangements and bouquets are gaudy. We wanted something that combined lush, textural flowers with clean lines and an almost minimalist aesthetic -- and we got that from Gabrielle! From start to finish she was a pleasure to work with and extremely responsive. Our centerpieces were exactly what we wanted, and even though I got married in late April she was able to find me beautiful pink peonies (not always in season then) and white lilacs for my bouquet, which was exquisite. Her website shows a lot of examples of her work, and she never repeats anything twice, which I love because it means she is being thoughtful and creative for each wedding. I learned about Gabrielle and G! Designs from the Brooklyn Winery when I was searching for a florist for our summer wedding. Words cannot express how happy I am to have found her and chosen her for the job! I wasn't super clear on what I wanted, was trying to incorporate a couple of things that I wasn't too sure would go together, and gave her a bit of a challenge with our main color for the wedding being blue. I nearly cried when I saw her work - the arrangements she put together exceeded any dream I had of how perfect they could be! Gabrielle did the flowers for our wedding at the Brooklyn Winery and she did an amazing job! Before booking with Gabrielle, I spoke with several high end florists in Brooklyn and Gabrielle's quote was by far the most reasonable. Given that she was charging less, I expected that things may have been less extravagant but she proved me completely wrong. The arrangements were super "lush" and beautiful as promised, without being overpowering or crowding the tables. Even without a pinterest board for inspiration, she was able to read my mind and execute the vision we had for the entire room. Gabrielle made the most beautiful arrangements for my best friend's Baby Shower! The theme was 'baby woodland animals' and she gave us a gorgeous array of arrangements in mismatched glass bottles and on wood rounds with moss, lots of greenery, and beautiful orange and cream colored blooms.
