The course instructor, Jeremiah, is a true subject matter expert who has mastered the skills and techniques he teaches. He has boundless energy and enthusiasm for teaching and does a great job of instructing and coaching. Jeremiah is very dedicated to assuring his students fix what's not working and make continuous improvement. Despite the fact he's very good at pistol handling and shooting, he doesn't leave his students feeling inferior. Much of the training involves safety, drawing the weapon from the holster, dry firing, and then live fire after which Jeremiah analyzes each student's target results for corrective action. I highly recommend training with Jeremiah at Panther Ridge. It's a tremendous value and if students approach the course with the right attitude and practice what they are shown, improvement in pistol handling and shooting is guaranteed.

I told him to go back to his area to watch the range. My wife was holding her gun correctly as she was knocking out the bullseye. She is very attractive and I feel this was a pervy way to get close to her. Very weird man. I also heard him on the speaker phone with a customer inquiring about the range. At a recent clinic taught by Coach Maskell he was explaining 'the lead' to myself and another student. The other student was an engineer by trade so when Coach told us a particular presentation required about 4ft of lead, the engineer understood exactly what he meant, adjusted accordingly & saw immediate improvement. Unfortunately, I'm a lawyer and telling me a particular target needs 4ft of lead is like trying to explain quantum physics to an infant - it doesn't work. But Coach Maskell knew this about me & without missing a beat, explained it to me in a more visual way that made sense to me & sure enough, I started hitting that target (and haven't stopped since)! Every time I've worked with Coach Maskell I have been happy at my improvement at the end of the day. He's always positive & helps me fix any mistakes I make instead of simply pointing them out & not offering solutions (as many coaches I've taken classes from in the past have done). His credentials speak for themselves, but unless you ask, he's not one to brag. Nor will he ever make you feel like you should be thankful he's allowing you to learn from him. It is one of BSA's premier camps in the Mid-west. They offer 9 weeks of summer camp located in Hoosier National Forest right on Lake Monroe. They offer boating (canoe, kayak, sailing, motor), private dock for swimming, gun and archery ranges, horseback riding, climbing tower, high-ropes course, and so much more. Get your son or daughter (yes, I said daughter -- check out Venture Scouting) to get involved with BSA and give them summers that they'll never forget!
