We are very disappointed with our experience and will be looking for another gardener who fulfills what they promise, turns up and actually looks after the garden as promised. Unfortunately, I need to update my original review after several months of residential gardening…read moreservice from Lona's. The issue is not with the actual work, but rather the business model and lack of communication. We have since moved on to another gardening service. Luis wants guaranteed business by charging a monthly fee to show up 2x/month year round. However, for simple lawn/hedge trimming and leaf clean-up, the amount he charges does not make sense. We struck a deal with him for ad hoc service, because nothing grows in the dry months of summer. However, we had a "no-call, no-show" during the rainy season when he had told us multiple weeks in a row that he would come by. When he finally showed up weeks later, he decided to charge us TWICE for overgrowth. Had he shown up the first time he said he would, that would not have happened. It seems he decided our business was no longer worth his time, so he decided to extract the most cash he could from us before we moved on. Needless to say, I cannot recommend Lona's to anyone after this experience.

My goal was to create a clean, attractive design with decorative stone inside the fence and gravel on the public-facing side, and Edgar executed it perfectly. Not only did he provide the most competitive quote, but the quality of the work exceeded my expectations. The finished project looks beautiful, professional, and completely transformed the curb appeal of my home. One thing that really stood out was how easy Edgar was to work with. He is responsive, communicates clearly, and is accessible by phone, text, and email, which made the entire process smooth from start to finish. His crew was professional, hardworking, and took pride in their work. If you're looking for a reliable landscaper who delivers quality results at a fair price, I highly recommend Edgar and his team. I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

We decided to move forward, and we left it up to him to provide and plant what was needed to create a perfect space that was both functional for entertainment and really pleasant to just relax and enjoy. Gio and his team did not disappoint. He met (and exceeded) our expectations, and stuck to the schedule and budget. And he didn't just create planter areas and new lawn, he also installed a paver walkway to match our existing patio stones. When he was finished with the original scope, he offered to maintain the rear yard to make sure our investment (and his hard work) would continue to look as good as the day he finished. He is not a typical "mow-blow-& go" gardening service.
