Unlike other companies whose number one priority is to rake in the money, G&C keeps their clients' best interest in mind at all times. Now that is a rarity.
The company was cofounded by Gerard and Carlin, both amazing people. I actually met Gerard before enlisting G&C's services while taking a Princeton Review course. Gerard was one of my instructors who was truly dedicated to the success of his students, both inside and outside of the classroom. He was my instructor for the course material but also a mentor for other questions that I had in regards to graduate/professional school. His care for his students really showed through.
G&C is designed to assist students/clients through the application process to graduate and professional school, whether that be medical, dental, optometry, pharmacy, masters, doctorate, business, or law school. Do not mistaken this as hand holding. You, the client, must do the work yourself, whether that be preparing for interviews, writing the personal statement and resume, etc. G&C serves as a guide to point out loop holes or impediments that students/clients otherwise wouldn't know about. They take a lot of the guess work out. Gerard and Carlin themselves are very familiar with the admissions process because they have gone through it. They've also gathered information from the admissions committee at various schools so that they keep updated about what it is schools are looking for in potential candidates.
Gerard served as a sounding board for me when I was working on my personal statement for graduate school. His comments really guided me and enabled me to write the very best that I could.
