I grew up in a farm town and spent my time playing baseball and lived next to a hunting ground, I know what being American means. And by jove this restaurant serves some of the most authentic American burgers I've ever tried here in Sweden. The meat was fresh, the cheese was real, and the french fries were just crunchy enough on the outside, yet soft and potato-y on the inside. The atmosphere of the open kitchen gives off the feeling of the American spirit of efficiency, yet still holding the quality of a gourmet burger. However, I think personally that the place could use a makeover, as it feels a bit bland and almost childish with the brightly colored chairs and tables which feel sort of out of place with the blank white walls surrounding the dining area. The buns on the burger could have also been a bit softer. It is difficult to achieve the perfect bun, crunchy around the edges but soft in the middle, and I would say the burger did reach the gourmet level, the only part I did not think really made it was the buns. Maybe it was just the time of day I got here but, just keep in mind Dylan. Work your buns.

It was surprisingly flavorful and not too sweet. I probably wouldn't pay for another $13 brownie during my stay here, but if you're willing to splurge for good dessert - this is the place to do it. The waitress was very nice and accommodating to my group. She didn't have any problems splitting the check and distributing individual checks. The only downside was that she didn't check-up on our table that much during the meal, so waiting for a check took longer than expected. Personally, I wasn't bothered by it; in some European countries, it's rude for waiters to rush their patrons. I just wasn't sure if this was part of the Swedish culture or the waitress herself.

The burger had the most amazing flavor and all of the condiments fit it perfectly. I'd dare saying it was almost orgasmic. This is obviously a good sign that they are doing something good, but i wanted to go hardcore so i went to the crime scene where it all started in the truck. Its literally located in nowhere and you wouldnt find it unless you know about it. When we arrived it was pretty empty, but after a couple of minutes the line started to jam up. The menu offers you double or single burgers, fries and sodas. I went with burger only and added bacon for the taste. It took about 10-15 minutes to get the burger and it was nicely wrapped in a anonymous paper. We sat down by one of their tables on the hard court and started indulging the masterpiece. Burger was tasty and flavory and fell apart easily as you took a bite. The brioche bread was lightly toasted and complemented the patty very good. I had the Pacific which also adds avocado and pico the gallo which was a nice addition to the overall impression. Extra bacon was also crispy just the way i wanted. This is a good if not a great burger. Pricing is very reasonable for the segment, but you wont dine in a sassy environment, at least not at this location. So if you like burgers, this is definitely one of the must tries, and you cant settle until you give it your own opinion.

The burger was not greasy at all and you could tell it was fresh hand pressed meat. The biggest negative was that I could easily need two burgers to be full. That and they don't do fries, just bags of potato chips. But all in all I will definitely go back, and often to Dylan's!
