I was born and raised an American citizen. I grew up in a farm town and spent my time playing baseball and lived next to a hunting ground, I know what being American means. And by jove this restaurant serves some of the most authentic American burgers I've ever tried here in Sweden. The meat was fresh, the cheese was real, and the french fries were just crunchy enough on the outside, yet soft and potato-y on the inside. The atmosphere of the open kitchen gives off the feeling of the American spirit of efficiency, yet still holding the quality of a gourmet burger.
However, I think personally that the place could use a makeover, as it feels a bit bland and almost childish with the brightly colored chairs and tables which feel sort of out of place with the blank white walls surrounding the dining area. The buns on the burger could have also been a bit softer. It is difficult to achieve the perfect bun, crunchy around the edges but soft in the middle, and I would say the burger did reach the gourmet level, the only part I did not think really made it was the buns. Maybe it was just the time of day I got here but, just keep in mind Dylan. Work your buns.
