In the Detroit area, there's plenty of stores but this one has a great charm matching a nice selection and prices that seem more than fair. Everyone was chill, talked with the guy in the hardware/repair area about a few things and he was friendly and approachable. Would go back anytime, they had a nice mix of new and reissues with enough used stock that is in good shape. The walls feature some specials and box sets and expanded collections. Looking forward to seeing this place again.

The staff is wonderful and has great insights not only on books but events and sights to check out in Traverse City. There is a terrific section dedicated to local hikes, sights and history should you like a meaningful souvenir from TC and the kids' section also has much to offer. Be sure to get a coffee, snack, etc along with your literary purchase and enjoy their shaded patio overlooking Front Street.

I was Christmas shopping for my family with specific items in mind. I approached "DJ", and asked him about a game. Instead of looking it up in his computer, he thinks he knows everything. I just wanted to know if the store had a copy of the game I was looking for and this guy was not about to look it up for me. Saying things like "oh it wasn't made for the switch." I just turned around and searched it up on the internet. IT EXISTS. But instead of trying to go back and forth with this guy who thinks he knows it all, I gathered my emotions and left. It really sucks because this is the only GameStop in the northern part of Michigan and now I don't have a GameStop at all because I refuse to go back. Whoever is in charge of this location, DJ needs a reality check in customer service.

Most places will have you request the issue you would like to look at; a total drag. Anyway, this store is located kinda in a back alley. One of this "blink and you'll miss it" type of places. I was able to come across several out of print comics (for example, an Archie collection). I was able to pick up a few comics that were a part of the Dark Phoenix Saga. Will definitely be making the 2 and a half hour trek up there again sometime soon.
