They even had the unique shiva that can be hard to locate and overpriced. They had fossils and rocks as well, especially the petoskey stone. The items were fair priced too. They currently do require face masks and the restroom is closed. However, the lovely worker with an awesome accent instructed us how to get to public restrooms a short 2 minites away! We love this cute shop and were excited that we saw it.

I think "original gifts" would be more accurate. They have jewelry, items for the house and garden, old post cards, pottery, masks, drinking glasses...we had a good time just poking around to see what they had. The owner was friendly and asked if we needed help, and left us to wander. We ended up buying stone earrings for $10 each. We enjoyed the store and recommend checking it out if you are in the area.

We always hit Cherry Republic (which is down the street) and then, while my husband let's the kids run around in the (beautifully redone) park across the street - I head to Imagine That to take it all in. The place inspires in me what my husband refers to the "Target-Thousand-Yard Stare" - which apparently the look I get on my face when I browse the aisles of Target, child free. (You know what I'm talking about, fellow moms ;). The shop is beautifully curated. You know that whoever does the buying for this place puts a tremendous amount of heart into the items they select. There are seasonal items like graduation gifts, Mother's/Father's Day presents, and even Christmas ornaments that are perfect souvenirs to remind you of beautiful Glen Arbor in all its summertime glory when you're putting up your Christmas tree in December. It is filled with so many whimsical items perfect for gifting or treating yourself. It is beautifully curated and laid out in a way that you just want to bring the entire section home. The staff is always kind and friendly and no matter how many times you pass through. It's smallish quaint interior you will find something different upon each pass. We never leave without a few stickers and other ass sort of gifts. Price is very between reasonable and high, but when you're in a place this whimsical somehow you don't mind treating yourself.

Most places will have you request the issue you would like to look at; a total drag. Anyway, this store is located kinda in a back alley. One of this "blink and you'll miss it" type of places. I was able to come across several out of print comics (for example, an Archie collection). I was able to pick up a few comics that were a part of the Dark Phoenix Saga. Will definitely be making the 2 and a half hour trek up there again sometime soon.

I was searching for Petoskey stones as gifts, and they had those, PLUS MORE…read more They have every stone imaginable, handmade art, stickers, magnets, all kinds of cool things. The saleswoman was so friendly, and she helped me find what I was seeking, and then she told me about all the different stones, their histories, and these little facts that only someone, who truly cares, knows. It was a Saturday afternoon, and I was the only one there, so we talked, and I shopped. It was such a great experience, and I learned a ton. Thank you for a truly great experience. I've already told everyone to visit you, and I will be back too.
