This place should be shut down immediately. After my perfered place of boarding was completely full I had to resort otherwise. After just three short days of leaving my sweet golden retriever, I was dumbfounded when I received her back. In just three short days my dog came back with cuts, scrapes, and her once beautiful wet nose was bone dry. When she came out her tail was in between her legs and it wasn't until she saw me that her tail came back to life. When we came home she immediately sat next to her food bowl like she does when it is her time to be fed. She eats fast but I had never seen her eat like this. I came back the following day and asked to see the boarding room. I wasn't allowed which I think is a big sign that something bad is going on. I will no longer be coming back to Connies and I will be boarding my dog with Altitude Veterinary Hospital. They have someone on call 24/7 and masie has always come back looking healthy and happy.

They also have an old red fire hydrant for the doggies that was donated This is sooo awesome for the doggies pets are not crowded. I love how huge and tall the doggie kennels are for the larger dogs. They have large, medium, and tiny doggie areas. I wanted my two dogies together and they respected my wishes. This is the most well organized pet care I have ever felt 100% content with. The kitties have his and her own divided area. I will never take my doggies to another pet care. The doggies are not allowed to walk out into the front office, now that is a such a relief for me. We arrived 15 minutes late to pick up our dogs, but were told (by an employee present onsite) because it was outside of their posted pickup hours, we would have to wait 6 hours. The employee (employee A), trying to help, asked the manager (employee B) for permission, but was told NO! This was after letting them know we lived 2 hours away, which would translate to a 4 hour round trip. The manager would not have had to lift a finger to save us a 4 hour round trip, yet decided to totally hose a loyal customer because of "policies". On my drive back, I spoke with the Casper police and learned it is illegal to deny an owner their dogs back. When I told employee C about this, during pick-up, she seemed to cast blame on us for being late; but seemed more open minded only after I discussed the potential legal implications of what happened. The manager was unwilling to ever speak with me directly, even by phone. I was given their corporate number, but it is a dead-end... even the operator won't answer or return my calls. I opted not to waste my time with pursuing charges. Photo updates were specifically spelled out as included in the boarding, yet none were ever received. Casper has many other boarding options. It's quite clear they have low regard for their clients. Please spare yourself a similar experience to mine or that of other recent reviews.

It's heartbreaking to think of her being uncomfortable and possibly neglected while I was away. I expected better care and basic attention to her needs. I won't be bringing her back.
