Dip manicure ***Update I've been here every couple of weeks for the past 2 months with NO issues. However, this most recent visit was a nightmare! Got a dip manicure Thursday and within three days, I had to go back twice to get them fixed. And it's still not correct, frustration! The front desk customer service is okay, but #12 really needs to work on his technique. This pic was taken immediately after I left. 11/14. I called yesterday and they told me to come in today. When I arrived, I was told by the manager Danny that they would no longer repair and that I would have to pay. Why would I have to pay when they repair was not completed correctly! Don't go here! I got a terrible fungal infection on my hands from getting a manicure here! For context, I don't get my nails done often at all (so it couldn't be from anywhere else) but was starting a new job in May and wanted them to look nice. I'm now on prescription medication and using cream to try to battle this infection NOT WORTH IT!!! Especially after paying over $100 for mani/pedi after tip. I'm including pictures. read more

Highly dissatisfied with the service I recently had here that if a zero star was an option thats exactly what I would score. I've been going to this place since they opened. I now live in Joliet and that's how loyal i've remained to make the commute all the way back to my hometown just because thats how much I loved going there. I made an appointment on 9/20/25 for 3 pedicures and mani followed the same process as always. My mother my sister and I plan a date there to get their services together, they all know us by now, but this time we were ignored and what turned out to be a reserved appointment was also ignored they were mainly focused on filling up their chairs that they ignored our appointments and then had the nerve to ask us to wait longer we waited more than hour until it came to the point where we left after we saw a few other customers being seated for their services after they walked in after us. I used to love this place. I was there recently, and the tech did the bare minimum. Service is lacking. The tech was rude and didn't listen to anything I asked for, and I showed him a picture. I even offered to pay extra if they were done accordingly. I came home and filed them to my desired shape. Huge disappointment! And I tip! read more

I definitely recommend this place and ask for John and Cindy!! John is real master at his work. You can tell him how you want your nails to look and he just nails it!!! Cindy is also very good at doing nails. I love the designs she does. Just let her know what design you want and she gets the job done!! Love this location. BUT it is very busy, I recommend making appointments. I've been doing my full sets with Kim as she free styles a lot of my sets and does great shape. Vinny is also highly recommended for pedicures! They do exactly what you ask for. He's gentle as well. I usually pay over $100 for a basic pedi(no chip) & full set acrylic with gems. Horrible job on my nails!! The man repeatedly cut my cuticles and made a very uncomfortable experience. Very painful!!! Then when doing my hands he gave me the wrong shape and ignored me so I had to ask again. Then when painting my fingers only did one coat and put the top coat on and refuse to let me see my own hand to check to make sure it looked OK and then once I asked him to fix the polish because you could see through it and it wasn't done correctly he told me no, and he would have to charge me extra because he already put the top coat on, even though I tried to look at them before, but he still denied me. would NOT recommend!! read more

On yesterday I had a 4;30 fill in with John. I arrived at 4:20 and checked in and around 4:45 I asked the receptionist how long will it be and she said he's over there running his mouth with a customer and at 5:00 he was done with the customer and he came to the counter and than proceeded back to his seat and I look over and see someone else in his seat so I asked the receptionist what's going on I have a 4:30 appointment so she tells him not to proceed with that customer because he has a 4:30 appointment waiting and he said he's wasn't wasn't taking me for her to find someone else to do it so she says to me as soon as I have someone available I will let you know and that's when I got upset and told her why should I have to wait when I made an appointment a couple days ago that wasn't fair for him to just randomly take Simone before me that didn't even have an appointment and that had just walked in the door. I wasn't treated right at all and I will never go back there again. Their prices are outrageous and they feel like just because they're giving you a free tea or Boba it makes them special while all the time you're paying for the drink in reality. They need to treat people better read more

I went to this place to remove the no chip manicure I had and to get a regular manicure. Everything started well as the nail technician started to remove the no chip paint with the file, she then continued to do the manicure which I thought was odd and that's when it all went wrong She never soaked off the rest of the no chip paint. I was left with dull half job. I Thought at least the clear nail polish will make it look better but I was told the manicure doesn't include nail polish not even a good old and clear polish. I came here because my usual place was closed and now I regret it I was left with a half job that I have to fix myself and I am out of $29. I could have gotten a better job and for less money. They also ask you for a review but if it's not a good one they would not let you post it! I feel ripped off! read more

Shame on me for continuing to give this place a chance but every time I am reminded why I drive all the way to utopia nails. My no chip only seems to last for 2 days before chipping, i grew out my nails they where super healthy and in a case of emergency I decided to come get a quick overlay , what a mistake two days later gel is lifting and my nails became soooo weak. It was my first time there since moving to the neighborhood. I have always gone to one nearby and was never satisfied with the service at the other salon. My experience here was 10/10!! Lin was awesome. My nails are so pretty and shaped just how I like them. I just moved in the area and I think I've found a new nail home. The prices are alittle higher than I'm use to (I got a removal, full set with color powder, medium length with a simple design on two nails; the price was $68 before tip I paid cash so I'm assuming I got the $2 off per every $30 spent) however, you get what you pay for and I am certainly not disappointed in the service I received. When I tell you I will NEVER go back to this place, I mean it. I wish I could report them at a higher level. The service this shop provides is inexcusable. Sloppy, rushed work. You can show them a picture of a simple design and not only will your nails look nothing like the design, but they will charge you upwards of $30 for the design. My inspo photo and what I got will truly make you laugh. Then to be told my total was $75???? Comical. For natural nails, $75? lol Oh and I received a thank you text from them with Refuse Service as my name. Trust me, I WILL NEVER BE BACK and I intend on yelping every time this gets pushed down. I moved to this area back in February and was recommended to this salon for nails, the attendant I got Don started doing my nails which were ok, then his prices started to go up every time I came and the quality started to go down. The last set of nails I got fell off in 2 weeks, after a lot of soul searching I decided to find another salon, my nails were extremely damaged after removing my last set. I reluctantly went back yesterday to get a pedicure which I had never done and now I know why, it was one of the worst pedicures I've ever had the tech Kathy immediately suggested a no chip pedicure which I refused and after that I guess she didn't want to do my pedicure after that, she rushed through everything and gave me a rough quick massage and proudly displayed that she was finished after painting my toes. Then tried to rush me out the chair after I just got regular polish. Upon my exit at the reception desk I reported my dissatisfaction with the tech and the receptionist gave me a blank stare and attitude. I will not be patronizing this place ever again, I definitely don't recommend. If you don't want our money say so. read more

Do not get gelx here! I got my nails done Gelx, by the 3rd day one had fell off and went to get it fixed. the 4th day another fell off. I didn't want to keep going back so I asked for a complete removal, refund or a new set of acrylic this time. They said no refund and then said 30% off the next set. He said no nails artist want to do nails for free and I said it's not free I gave in my 85$ for the nails that lasted me 6 days at most. Finally he said okay to short squared acrylics. At the end they were trying to charge 55$ which they did not get out of me. Very cheap and unreliable business.. read more

I am so disappointed to have to write this review. As a loyal customer, I brought my mom in for her first no chip for my dad's wake and funeral. After 3 days, it started chipping and then the entire polish lifted up from her nails. Considering the circumstance in our family we were unable to come back in within the week to get the problem corrected. When explaining this to the owner he said, well that's our policy so I can give you a discount but not re-do. I am not sure in what world he thought we were worried about getting to a nail salon when we had just lost my father/her husband. I understand the need for policies to protect a business and not get scammed. However, this was most certainly an exception. So basically my mom had to pay for a sub par service with no compensation. Disappointed! Long time customer never had an issue until today. The tech Carrie had a poor attitude throughout my mani she huffed & puffed to the point where she cut me with the filer. After flinching she reacted with a stop. I've never expected this experience since I've been going for years now. I would recommend to take a short course on customer service-if one asks questions is not to upset you but seek to understand - remember there's a language barrier. We are not nail techs so if a client is not getting what they usually get - chances are that you will get many questions. Also the customer always should get what they want not what you are up for that day. After all we are paying customers. read more

John did an amazing job using dip polish, kind and personable and is experienced (will give great recommendations and is attentive to his art). I've gotten no chips, dip, acrylic and haven't had any issues with chipping polish- my nails can last up to one month and still look good. Pricing is moderate but fair in terms of quality. My experience was going pleasantly until I told the nail tech that the acrylic color was more pink than the one on the picture that I had showed him at the beginning. Before he began the process I showed him a picture of what I wanted and I did mention that I want it exactly how the picture shows. They told me they were going to switch nail tech because he didn't know how to do. They sat me down I waited around 2-3 minutes. Nobody came to tell me what was going to happen next. So I went to the lady in the front and ask why they had moved me and how much longer would I have to wait. She didn't know what to tell me until she went to ask one of the lady that was helping me translate to the nail tech. She finally told me that it would be another 15 min wait because the nail tech that was doing my nails couldn't do the design from the picture. Okay I understood that part, what I couldn't understand is why I had to wait another 15 min, when they had other available nail tech attending new customers as they walked in. I walked out.
