After all. It wasn't their mouth in pain!! Dr. Penley's fit me into her schedule within a day or so. Upon arrival an assistant took me in an exam room and I was treated as though she WAS WORKING FOR ME. AS THOUGH SHE WAS THERE TO TAKE CARE OF ME!!! Finally found my to go dentist. I've been going to…read moredifferent dentists over the years for my 4 month cleanings, checkups and dental needs. Reason I went to different dentists over the years is that I really never felt comfortable with any of them plus it felt like assembly line dentistry with every dental chair occupied and the dentists hopping from patient to patient, not to mention the sticker shock when given an estimate. Called Picayune Dental Clinic for an appointment and was able to get in within 2 days to see Dr. Hale. (Gave my dental insurance information etc. over the phone) Dr. Hale is very professional and super nice. After the x-ray diagnostics I had one small cavity that needed to be addressed. Instead of having to make a follow up appointment Dr. Hale filled it on my 1st appointment (today). Like most I'm not very comfortable with dental anesthesia but to my surprise it was absolutely painless. Prices are very reasonable compared to other local dental clinics ( I was pleasantly surprised with my out of pocket cost). As a new patient my appointment was made quickly without the week or longer wait to be seen. Office is very clean. Staff is super friendly and make you feel very comfortable. Painless! I highly recommend Picayune Dental Clinic if you're looking for great dental care and absolute reasonable prices.

Called each time, and was told they were in error, but up to 4 times I had to call. Then, I booked a crown on one tooth, and when I got there, they set up for a different tooth. Then when they got the correct tooth figured out, the temporary broke within a week, they said my dentist had Covid, and didn't know when she was back. I asked for one of their other dentists to help, and they said there weren't any other dentists there, which I found out later wasn't true. Then when dentist returned, their office was closed down because they didn't meet sanitation/sterilization standards. So by the time I was able to get my actual crown, all my teeth on top row had moved, crown now didn't fit, and then my dentist was no longer there, so I was left with going to another dental clinic and Picayune Dental made me pay to see one of their other dentists, which previously they said there weren't any. I went in with a bad tooth that obviously needed to be pulled. I had excellent dental insurance at the time and instead of just taking one X-ray and extracting the tooth.. they did multiple x-rays for their reasons on not getting the "correct angle" they did not give me the proper sedatives to reduce or relieve any pain. I pretty much felt the whole experience!! once I finally made it through it. I told whatever the insurance did not cover. I would pay in cash. They gave me a total cash balance of $179 and some change, they then wrote me a receipt saying paid in full!! well!!, some months later I receive a bill in the mail for $89 and some few change, when I called them to ask them what the issue was. they tried to say that my insurance did not cover what they said they was going to cover in the beginning, and said that I would have to pay out-of-pocket the remainder that they claim my insurance wouldn't pay!! 159 Is what they claim my insurance paid and out-of-pocket I paid 179 and some change, now im expected to pay another 89 dollars out of pocke?? I'm just wondering on what planet does it cost almost $500 to have 1 tooth pulled??
