Simple concrete block building that reminds me of the old Florida restaurants of my youth. My kind of place. The service was great, My server, Patty, made sure my iced tea was always filled when I was ready. The tea was very good. I tried my usual first visit to a BBQ Restaurant selections. Next time I will try the pork and chicken. I ordered the Lunch combo plate with St Louis Ribs and Brisket. For sides I got the green beans and cole slaw. The ribs were cooked to perfection not over or undercooked, with great flavor. The brisket had great smoke ring and was tender, flavorful and the slices were very good. I also used their spicy BBQ Sauce. It was very good on both of the meats. They also have a sweet BBQ sauce that I didn't try. Now the sides. The Cole slaw was good, but it is a little sweet for me. Now, the green beans. My mama would say, they were undercooked. Not crunchy like I have had in some restaurants, but not cooked like how I like them and how I cook them at home. The meal also comes with toasted garlic bread. If you like good BBQ, and are in the area, I recommend you give them a try. I drove an hour each way to visit and as far as I am concerned, the trip was well worth it.
