Had a wonderful massage here at Fusion4athletes! I needed something more than just a regular massage to work out some muscle pain I was having and Kristin did an amazing job with me. She really took care of all the muscle soreness I was having. She explained what she was doing and why it would help along the way which I appreciated. Don't get me wrong - I still relaxed completely but with the added benefit of taking care of my issues. I see here that others have had issues with a lot of sales talk but I did not experience that. I think they have listened to their customers and made changes. Really like 2.5 of 5 stars. I really wanted to like these guys for their athletes massages, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. I had a really good first experience after I bought a groupon and redeemed it last summer. The massage therapist I originally went to was no longer there when I scheduled in December, so I tried another one of the therapists after I had purchased 2 75 minute massages for $45 each thanks to Black Friday. I didn't have the greatest experience (not sure if they were sick or what, but I could hear them breathing the entire massage) and I never got fully massaged out. Today, when I got the second of 2 massages redeemed, it didn't go the full 75 minutes and what I felt like were my trouble spots weren't worked on 100%. At least I won't have to drive to the west side any more, I was just hoping for more. read more

This is more a 2.5 star review. Let's start with the Positives: 1. I was able to purchase a massage here cheaply via Groupon. I got a 75 minute for less than $40. I like this option because then I don't feel angry if I got a lousy product for less money. 2. The location was clean and I didn't have any reservations about spending some time here. I also felt safe, which when taking your clothing off and lying on a table with a stranger is kind of important. 3. Professional interaction with staff. 4. Decent massage. 5. Pressure was great. Usually I feel like I needed more pressure and this was not the case here. Cons: 1. I couldn't locate the place. I had the office building number but no concrete way of knowing which entrance to go into. As it is darker earlier in the evenings because of the season, I felt slightly uncomfortable walking in the dark up to different doors in an office building and hoping for the best. When I mentioned to the massage therapist that there isn't a sign on the building or on the office signage he provided me monetary excuses not to "purchase" a sign. While I can appreciate the expense, as a consumer, this doesn't help me locate you. Additionally, the building has lights on sensors, so when I walked up to the entrance all the lights were off. The door was open so I went in and suddenly the lights appeared. Not great for a first-timer, or for safety concerns one might have. 2. I felt like I was being pitched a sale at almost every moment possible. Again, I appreciate that you're trying to make a living, but I'm here for a massage, not your sales pitch. Your work should speak for itself. Please don't try to sell me on the other side gigs you have too. 3. Please don't bad-talk my physical therapists or chiropractors. Honestly, I think you all should be working as a team to provide the best over-all wellness to people, so don't talk trash or criticize each other. It makes you look bad and I get a bad taste in my mouth from it. I've had a variety of massages in my life. As much as I'd like to be a regular massage client somewhere, I've never been able to fiscally swing it. I'm more of that drop in when I can, when I get a gift, or when I'm in so much pain I can't stand it. Jim, the owner, worked on me and stressed, "This is not a massage, this is muscle cleaning." I can appreciate that component, but you best figure out exactly what the client is looking for, regardless of what you prefer to provide. Jim talked almost constantly throughout my "muscle cleansing" and that was okay for some of the time, but not really what I came for. He also provided what I felt was a lecture / sales pitch at the beginning taking nearly 15 minutes prior to the massage. He did make up that time (almost) on the table, and I was glad I didn't have somewhere to be after. Would I go again? Maybe. Would I recommend? Perhaps, depending on what you're looking for. I would recommend a trial run before a package purchase. read more

I came in for a massage a few months ago and was very surprised by my experience. The place was very clean and looked professional so I had high hopes. Then even before the massage started the massage therapist started talking about the massage cleansing the body of toxins. Which if they kept up on current science he would of known that that was disproven years ago. I was very surprised to hear someone still say this. Then he had me put this little strip in my mouth before the massage to test something- I'm really not sure other than what he was saying didn't make a lick of sense medically. The massage itself was decent. Afterwards the massage therapist tried to give me pills to take which is completely out of the scope of practice for a massage therapist in Ohio! Not only was it out of scope, but then it was to help continue to flush the toxins! Which again MASSAGE DOES NOT DO! And he wanted me to take another test strip so I can see how my "toxins" level went down. I have no clue what those test strips actually do but it's not what they say they do. Overall I was shocked at the lack of education and the willingness to work out of scope. Scary stuff. read more

First off I would like to say that my first massage was so amazing that I wanted to go back. I set up a new appointment about a week out. Less than two days before my appointment I receive a text that the person I was seeing was no longer with the company and that my appointment was cancelled. However this is where it started to go wrong. I get that people can come and go from a company but there was very little warning for the cancellation. Next in the email I received for the cancellation, it said that I had not been charged. Well I was charged the day I booked the appointment and have not gotten my money back! I left a phone call at the office a couple of days ago, for someone to refund me my money, but I have still not heard any response. I am still looking for someone to make this right. read more

Recently received a groupon massage. I was hoping for a good professional massage to address some of my issues. The therapist is not very skilled. I left feeling worse and nauseated after the massage. Don't use scented creams on everyone not a good practice. No relaxation at all. I would not go back.
