Delicious All you can eat sushi & Thai - ($23,95) - for lunch. . Fresh and delicious sushi. It was all very good and would 100% recommend. The service was quick and friendly, though if it was slower I would've been fine too. It's AYCE so you can wait between courses/rounds. I will come back to try more of the food. We did mostly sushi and a few Thai items. . Some of my favorites were the sushi, sushi pizza(s), deep fried cheese wonton, and steam buns. Finished off with some mango ice cream. There aren't as many roll options, but I loved the sushi pizza and sashimi. . Would come back again. Too much selection, so I couldn't try it all. Definitely up there for ayce places with a very good price. Worth every dollar read more

I came for all you can eat sushi.. because of the brand I was expecting something good.. not with big expectations... I came after work at this place. And it was not so busy. We ordered a few things and sometimes they brought our orders sometimes not.. everything depends of their mood lol So they have so many good options for food but the sushi was not good and fish was too fishy. Soup ?? It was not good. I don't know what happened in the kitchen and with the serves.. maybe I will come back one day and then I'll change my review.. Delish Japanese food and some Thai food, with reasonable price. If you like meat or Asian food with limited budget, it is definitely one of your best choices. The main differences between lunch and diner is if there are sashimi supplied. Dinner Served from 3pm to 11pm. read more

I went with a bunch of students who frequent this all-you-can-eat venue. Service was great. Staff was friendly and it was easy to catch their attention. We received almost everything we ordered and no attitude to our requests for more sashimi. The menu is a lot smaller than Oishii (Riverbend). There is no seaweed salad, soft shell crab, chopped scallop, oysters, etc. But, you get all the salmon sashimi you want. I liked the salmon sashimi, any of the skewers (chicken, shrimp in particular), pad thai, and the shrimp tempura. The salmon tasted fresh. I felt like we got our $30 bucks worth here. I didn't try the tuna sashimi because it was white as snow... the people we ate with said it was good. The rolls were too saucy and the rice wasn't the best. In summary, if you're a student with a healthy appetite, you'll like this place. I personally try not to eat-all-I-can eat, so this won't be a frequent stop for me. read more

I feel when choosing all-can-eat options you probably have to lower your standards just a smidge. Fusion sushi seemed to hit the lower standard bench mark initially. However, after leaving the restaurant feeling ill, it proved that it was far below par. We tried an variety of sashimi, 4 of the specialty rolls and a few appetizers. I found the sashimi to taste like it had been pre cut and chilled, teriyaki chicken tasted like processed chicken and the rolls were drenched in sauce. Crab meat was a particularly hard imitation crab meat to choke down. Again, hitting the realm of lower standard to accommodate eating as much as I want and trying new things. Tempura shrimp, miso and dumplings were good. Deep fried cheese wonton was unique and tasty. Green tea ice cream was fantastic, however, that's kind of a given. I gave this place 2 stars, one star because while the food stayed down it was pretty alright. A second star because they had an intense Taylor Swift sound track going throughout our stay. Had we not been sick afterwards I would have thought 3 stars was the perfect numerical rating for this place. read more

Went here with a group of 12 for all-you-can-eat sushi the sushi is OK, not spectacular and I would probably give 3 stars if it wasn't for the tuna sashimi. I ordered 8 each of salmon and tuna sashimi. they came all on one plate and that's fine but the tuna was as white as the background on this site and almost perfectly rectangular. I've eaten a lot of tuna sashimi in almost every well rated place in Calgary and Edmonton as well as locations in Asia and have NEVER seen white color tuna. I questioned it and was told that is "white tuna sir"...BULLSHIT!!! it didn't look like tuna, didn't taste like any tuna I've ever had, IT IS NOT TUNA!!! I'd guess pollock at best, the same crap that fake crab is made from. It's bad enough that you served that crap, but to lie to your patrons and tell them something like that?!?! I will not recommend anyone go here, EVER!!! read more

Pretty standard AYCE. Sushi was fresh, teriyaki beef was especially good. All other items were on par - decent tempura, tasty rolls, but nothing that stood out (to be expected for an AYCE place) Service was good! read more

I recommend this place for a long lunch. I spent over 2 hours there with a friend. The food was delicious, especially their sushi. The service was a bit slow, but the servers were friendly. I didn't mind the slow service because it is a great place to take your time eating. Employees are careful about wearing masks and social distancing, even though they don't legally have to now. I felt safe dining indoors because of that. read more

The sushi is pretty good, but the reason for the two stars is the same as other peoples posts. When we arrived it took a long time for someone to come and take our drink order, long enough that we had time to pick out our entire meal order as well. The first item to come was seafood soup, which we thought we had ordered a miso soup, the server walked away and then came back with our original order to point out the error was indeed ours, which we apologize for but they insisted we must eat the soup, just blank expressions and no acknowledgement of our apologies, just continued saying we must eat the soup. During our meal we had coconut shrimp, after eating three pieces we found a hair swimming in the sauce on the plate, we pointed it out to the server, who grabbed the plate and walked away, no apology, nothing, not even a look of apology, just walked away. She finally returned and said, we buy you a round of drinks for the hair, but still never said sorry. So we asked for two beers and she said "no you get what you already ordered", which was one beer and one cup of tea that is listed on the menu for $1.00. Mistakes happen, but how you handle them is everything and this is why it only gets two stars and I'm not sure we will ever return. read more

The quality and service aren't very good here. The only reason I keep coming back is the price. I like that I can have sushi for $18.

All you can eat place with a decent price tag on it, good selection of food, but one fatal flaw. They serve escolar as tuna. Don't let the stupid name "white tuna" fool you - escolar is not tuna, it's a mackerel. This is seafood fraud, and CTV did a piece on this about a week ago. If you can't serve real tuna, don't list it on the menu. Not everyone enjoy eating laxatives. read more

Horrible service, they took 20 mins to pick up our ordered another 40 min for the first food to arrive and an hr in total to recieve our whole order with missing items. Servers were very dismissive and made no effort, we had to ask for extra things at least 2 times and recieved negative attitude from service staff. All other tables who arrived before us got drinks and food way before us although we were only a table of two. The service was absolutely unacceptable and they did very little to compensate. As a frequent guest of the McKnight location, I was truly excited to see this location of Fusion All You Can Eat Sushi and Thai opening up in Kensington in the old Osteria de Medici location. I went in for lunch which was a bit more than the McKnight location but still reasonably priced at $17.95 for the all you can eat sushi and Thai menu. Al a carte is also available. The restaurant was quiet during my visit. I am not certain many people know about this new location as it is not yet on the internet anywhere that I can find. Hopefully once their web presence picks up, so will their business. The service I had her was highly attentive and fantastic. Sometimes at the McKnight location service can be lacking but it seems as though they have made a point to ensure that is not the case here. All the rolls and sushi I had was fresh, delivered extremely fast and was of very good quality. I would highly recommend you try out the special rolls - delicious! They also don't seem to load you up excessively on the rice with the sushi and rolls as some all you can eat places tend to do. If this location keeps up with the great service and quality that I experienced I imagine there will be line ups here in no time! read more

3 of us stopped into eat, the staff seemed indifferent to us, didn't explain it was all you can eat lunch only. After 25min they finally took our order (picked up a piece of paper we wrote on) only after we waved them down, and we still didn't receive our main dishes after another 30min (only the soup with 2 wontons in it). No servers stopped by at any point to ask for drinks or anything. We finally got fed up and went to leave and they still tried to make up pay the $60 for all three of us even though we didn't get to eat. They were very rude about the whole thing. The food was mediocre. The service was slow and sloppy. We were ignored for a good portion of the time. The final straw was the server who actually had the nerve to lecture us about leaving food on our plates and told us to "have some respect". Never had an experience quite like this one...and it all boils down to the "manager" Ted. With my group of 3 only 2 of us wanted to order off the 'all you can eat' menu. My other party member wanted A la carte and had to go through the process of ordering 1 item 6 times (I kept count out of sheer entertainment for myself). We had 3 girls attending us Amy, Lu, and Amanda; they were fine, though lacked proper management since 1 server per person is unnecessary. This is where Ted comes in. He is a disgrace to the word 'management.' He did not behave or look like a manager. He treated his staff like gum under his shoe and would argue with my party member over the dish she had ordered. At this point she no longer wanted it, but he steamrolled right over her, demanding the name of the dish. What an incredibly miserable and rude man. One would think that in order for their business to succeed they would need to leave management in the right hands. Ted needs to be dealt with and fast. read more
