Waited for months. First he said he'd received a replacement motherboard but that it was defective and sent it back. After that I never heard from him again, and my phone calls went unanswered, also for months. My guess is that he lost my laptop during moving his company, and never wanted to 'fess up. I am UPDATING my last reviews for CompuTech. Admittedly I wrote negative reviews previously but…read moretoday brought my experience to a +11 out of 10. Our tech, Cameron, brought our computer back today. Both he and the owner reported that our computer worked fine at the store. As it turned out the chord which connects the computer to the power was broken. It was replaced immediately by the owner, who drove the part to our home. We were not charged for the visit and our computer works very well now. The only concern was the grounding from our wires in the house. (Old house) I am so grateful for the business not giving up on our equipment or us. A personal apology to the business for my original angry review. This is the real one!

I took it home and found that half of the screen did not respond to any touch, and the color was so far off that it was almost gray scale. I took it back and they did not have another screen in their shop, but called the Orem store and they had one available. I got to the Orem store and they had a screen but the person that fixed them did not come in until 12:30 the NEXT day. I returned at 12:45 the next day and I was told the person was not yet in, but would be in any minute. They told me to leave my phone and come back in an hour and it would be fixed. I returned in 1 and 1/2 hours and they had not even started on it. They hurried to get it done, but it still took about 20 minutes. The phone works, but the color is still off. I only wish I had spent a few dollars more and had taken it to the Apple store. Buyers remorse.
