Ooh la la ... looks way better live!
Dennis H.

Rarely these days do I meet people that blow you away with their combination of passion, skills and commitment. Troy and Reuben are simply outstanding ... full stop. I took the top end of my Porsche 928 motor in to see what they could do to make it look beautiful. Troy and Reuben spent a bunch of time with me exploring different ideas on colors and finishes. They took me through their shop and showed me the attention to detail they placed on masking, spraying and quality control. In the end, I settled on a color and let them hand grain the Porsche lettering and other contrasting features. This week, I got my parts back, and holy moly, they look so incredibly terrific, I cannot stop drooling and admiring them. On top of their spectacular appearance, the masking was superb and not a spec of residual powder or other dust inside of the intake runners or the cam housing (incredibly important - I know people who have ruined engines because other powder coaters left residual powder in the intake ... NOT Fusion). All of the machined surfaces, holes and threads were perfectly masked so I did not have to do anything other than put things back together. I will never go anywhere else and I urge you to do the same. Thank you Troy and Reuben. You are my heros!!!

Absolutely Brilliant! Ruben and his Crew went above and beyond. STOP LOOKING ELSEWHERE! My wheels look better than from factory and I'm loving the color. Excellent workmanship and timely turnaround, 4 wheels in 1 business week, amazing. Can't wait to give them more things to powder-coat for me.

Aluminum wheels for my Harley, made by Performance Machine and powder coated by the awesomeness of Fusion Coatings in Livermore, CA.

After calling every place in the area for powder coating, I decided to go with Fusion Coatings. The wheels for my Harley are aluminum wheels made by Performance Machine, and with all of the components, they were just over $4,000 for the front and rear. Originally they were chromed aluminum, but I was getting tired of that style, so I decided to go with a black powder coat, to hopefully preserve and protect my investment. I took the wheels and parts to Meclec in Fresno where they removed the entire chrome process and left me with completely bare aluminum that was ready for powder coating. I cannot express how pleased I am with the final product here. Fusion Coatings did the work fast, and exactly how I requested (some surfaces needed to stay bare aluminum). The black that Ruben advised me to go with is absolutely beautiful. Words cannot express how pleased I am with this, and he even assured me that if I end up banging a piece on accident or whatever while I am reassembling, that he would coat it again free of charge. The business is extremely clean and very orderly and very professional. I'm still rebuilding many components on my 2005 Dyna Low Rider, so I know I'll have a few more pieces to powder coat, and I will return to Fusion Coatings from here on out. Nothing less than outstanding workmanship from this business. It's impressive, to actually get what you hoped for, along with a refreshingly friendly personality from the business, without it costing you an arm and a leg to get true flawless quality. Outstanding work Ruben, thank you sir!!

Good stuff here from fusion coatings

If your planning on taking your goodies to get powder coated anywhere else, DONT! Leave it to Troy, Ruben and the gang at Fusion Coatings to powder the next Mona Lisa for you. These people take the time, the patience, and their enthusiasm to make your vision come to life. Everything from stripping, masking and coating is quality stuff. I had them powder an array of motorcycle parts for a custom build I've been tasked to complete and after reviewing other places in the Bay Area I decided to let the crew at Fusion Coatings tackle it. Troy is an enthusiast in his craft. Ruben is his right hand man and together they combine for results that are amazing in quality. Pricing is competitive, communication is great and the finished product speaks volume. This operation is one you need to take a look at for yourself.

Bumpers Matched about 95% Well Done!

What can I say about Fusion Coatings, Awesome, Spectacular, Amazing, Friendly. Troy, the general manager, gave me a entire tour of their facility, which might I add is really awesome. I also met with his lead Project Manger Ruben, who helped me with what I needed and showed me a few different options on what powder to choose for my bumpers. I took my bumpers in to get powder coated from these guys on a Tuesday, and told them i was going to need them back Friday, which they were hesitant on if they could get the job done, i got a call from Troy Tuesday night saying how him and Ruben stayed late to get them done after hours and i was able to pick them up Wednesday, These guys go above and beyond for you and just are an awesome Company, Well Done guys, - Alex

Took my bike frame here to have them powder coat it. Not only did they tell me this is something they were accustomed to, but I also showed them the areas of the frame that the bike company told me they absolutely couldn't get paint inside of... they said no problem, that they were familiar with that and they would mask it. I purchased my own paint because they didn't have the color, and they charged me $150 cash. I left the extra paint with them also since I had no use for it. After I picked it up and took it back to the bike shop for them to put it all back together, I got a call saying there was paint in the places they specified it couldn't be. They would be able to put the bike back together but they were going to have to spend a lot of time carefully removing paint from those important areas and it was going to cost me up to $200 for extra time and labor. I emailed fusion coatings about this, obviously upset, and they told me that the best they could do would be to give me a refund of the $150 cash and give me the paint back. I went to go pick up both and that was that. I paid them in $50 bills, and the cash they gave me back was in $20's, $5's and $1's. When I took the money out later to put it in my account, I saw that "F*** Y**" was written in huge black writing on one of the $5 bills in the middle of the stack. Needless to say this company is unprofessional, under qualified and a sorry excuse for a company. Good job, guys. Oh, and the person I dealt with was named Ruben

Had my 66 chevelle frame and inner fenders done there, we went with the Black Jack and came out cleaner than I could have imagined and super quick turn around..

Upright position rollator "handle bars", I made, powder coated gloss black.

My wife has Parkinson's disease and uses a 4 wheeled walker called a "rollator" to get about. She hates how it forces her to walk hunched over and gave me the assignment/project of seeing if I could convert it to an "Upright Walker, like what she saw on a TV commercial. Well, after 2 weeks of "trial & error" fabrication work in my garage, I pulled it off, but now needed to have the bare steel tubes powder coated. I live "over the hill" in the Brentwood/Antioch/Oakley area... I found two powder coat businesses listed, but when I went to their address locations... both were no longer there. Back onto Yelp and enter Troy, Ruben and Fusion Coatings. I drove over Vasco Rd to their shop in Livermore with the 4 pieces I needed powder coated, only to learn that there was a $150 minimum. After explaining my lack of success in finding a place to do the work near me, Troy talked to Ruben and I was quoted a very reasonable price. The work was completed in a couple of days, and it was fantastic!! Thank you Troy and Ruben for coming to my rescue with my project, I do not know what I would have done had you folks not taken on the work. My wife is thrilled to no end with her "new and improved" Rollator.

Before

Im going to start out and saying Ruben is the man. He is really passionate about his job and how its done. I had some 3 piece wheels and wanted to have the faces painted gloss white and the bolt heads as close as the blue on my wheel emblem. When I came to the facility EVERYONE was friendly. From the front desk to the owner of Fusion. Ruben was very helpful of helping me choose what color code I wanted since this was my first time Powdercoating anything. They actually finished the job WAY faster than I expected. He did give me a call to say that they were done but he was not ok with the finish product and wanted to try again. Most places would be like "here you go" but even when the product was finished he wanted it perfect. When I came to the facility the 2nd time I actually got a tour of the place. He showed me what it came out like before and what I should look like. Its nice to deal with a company that likes to have the best results on any job. Now this is the really awesome part. He knew that I wouldn't be able to pick up the wheels for another week due to my days off so he actually had them delivered to me. I would just like to say that this company and its employees are one of the best people to deal with as far as customer service. There is a reason they have been in business for more than 35+ years.

Troy powder coated the roll bar skin of my 1975 911 Targa Carrera and it looks perfect! Now I have to make the rest of the car look that good!

Posts for shade sails.
Tony M.

Troy took great care of me! Over and above! I bought 4 raw steel posts to hang shade sails from. Fusion picked them up, took them to get sand blasted, welded on some caps, drilled some holes, then powder coated them. When it was all done, Troy delivered them himself and helped me install. They look great, and I couldn't be more pleased!

SAMAY A.

I have been coming to this shop to have my powder coating done. They offer all kind of variety of colors and options for your needs. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the process and are very humble and nice. I have been dealing with MR: Ruben he's fantastic guy to deal with honest on time with no delays and will deliver the parts in they way you would have in visioned it. If your are looking to have your parts powder coated for motorcycle parts accessories wheels, exhaust tips, outdoor furniture, car bumpers or almost anything metal or aluminum this is the shop to visit. Keep on going guys and sure to visit again soon for more stuff to be coated. Cheers
